I'm in Torquay and even from here I can see it ain't a pen..
Seems like all the matches so far, refereeing has left alot to be desired.
I thought with promotion came a higher standard of official?

reading the shrimpers forum this morning and to a man they are saying that although they are playing poorly at present , this game was dire and rovers were shocking and couldn't even take a throw in ??
I wasn't there this week but they have us down as certain strugglers who fought had but no craft .....I would have to agree on what I have seen so far but sounds like they are in for a struggle too

I fail to see how th referee could give a penalty in that circumstance. Terrible decision and cost us two points. Oh well, a point on the road can't be sniffed at.

Walked by a couple of Southend supporters by the chip shop and one said to the other, "It was never a penalty." "Nope" was the reply.
I'm putting it down as a winning draw and another poor experience at Roots Hall, especially that ruddy drum.

Hoskin on Radio Bris described it as 'Rovers being the only side looking to win the game' in the last 30. Creating all the play and having all the chances. I Haven't read anything to suggest we were in any way under the cosh (like we haven't been in any of our games so far) so fair play to them for their wrong opinions, but we won't be struggling in this division  |
