Mine arrived in New Zealand (via my son) 3 days ago!
Good quality is Macron.

Mid September? That really is poor. Apology not really good enough. Six weeks into the new season before the kit arrives is not acceptable.

Other than apologise, I can't really see any other options open to them. Of course they can't now but surely changing the kit provider so late in the day was always going to invite trouble and was silly. They should have stayed with the same supplier this season and had discussions with Macron for next season. Bad mistake and something you would associate with the previous board.

Perhaps the last suppliers were not interested in a one year deal as kit supplier!

I'm struggling to find a reason to care about this.

Not sure the previous board would have considered changing, i think thst is the point. Maybe they could have held off and done a deal for next year, but who knows again what the circumstances All the club can do is apologise and at least the club are coming up with an offer

People are not bothered as we are still in the honeymoon period with our new owners, one I hope that lasts for a long time, but had this happened in the reign of the hapless NH things would be different. People bang on about seeing kids in Man Ure kits walking around Bristol instead of a local side - this does not help.

Some people will always find a reason to be unhappy. We are lucky to have a club and I truly believe that had Higgs still been here then we would be looking at administration. The Sainsburys debacle and legal fees plus extended loan would not have been paid. Please remember how much the Al Qadi family have invested already and to make all debt internal. This kit thing is small fry.

I'm sure the team ran out in a Macron strip on Thursday, or was I seeing things?

The thing is the new owners are going.to get some leeway as they are seen to be doing things to improve the club. if thr old board did it latr in the day after having Errea for donkeys years and this happened than it would be a bit different to the new ownership and their root and branch review they appear to be undertaking Any club, will make mistakes, but it is the frequency of them and the way they present themselves that depends on how people react to them. This most be disappointing to the board from a revenue point of view but this change is something they have done for commericial reasons late in the day. Who knows what the term of the Errea deal were and what Macron offer us in the long term, but the club seem to think it is a better deal, just one thst has caused a short term problem

I truly thought the club was going under and attended the Welly 3 and trust meetings in preparation. Me, I've still got an inner smile from the last two promotions, but some fans require little to moan about.

Mid September? That really is poor. Apology not really good enough. Six weeks into the new season before the kit arrives is not acceptable. I appreciate you may be missing Nick but can you point out how many times Nick or GoD put their hands up, admitted a failing and apologised unreservedly? I can't recall how many times I heard people moaning about Errea and their failings. What are you going to moan about when the kits are in and selling like hot cakes... It's a month, I've been waiting years for UWE to be built by Nick, Boycie and co. No apology that its not there yet or that they wasted millions of pounds suing Sainsbury putting this club in jeopardy. Or do you know something I don't...

Big assumption to make Cheshire and wrong. The board made a bad decision by changing the kit so late in the day that this was almost inevitable. The board have done good things for the club but we should be able to criticise where they get things wrong or are we not in a democracy? All I am saying is that they could have waited to change next year. Just my opinion and no I don't know something you don't - or at least I don't think so! 😁

Slight hitch while trying to improve things (no-one seriously inconvenienced; high interest loan not needed; club future not bet on dying in a ditch); full apology and accompanying deal offered. Fair enough, and a world apart from what went before.
If we're going to get anywhere, change has to happen, and some of that won't be right first time. The only significance of this is the quality of the response to it, which is good.
edit to add: it's classy that they make a point of sparing Macron from criticism: previously, everything was someone else's fault. How refreshing.
