Not sure about this one. I think Rovers could do a lot better.

He will certainly do a job in League 1, not sure if he will be first choice but still a good option to have as back up. Great character around the club who fully deserves a new deal after his performances in the second half of the season. Hopefully Puddy can get signed up as 3rd choice keeper, and then i'm sure DC will be on the look out for a 1st/2nd choice keeper to battle it out with Mildy.

At least we will have a keeper before the season starts. Oooo just like we did last season, but did not use him.

Happy to have Mildy signed up. Whatever happened last summer has been put aside and both Clarke and Mildy have been professional about it
Whther Mildy is number 1 or not next season who knows, but he will be good back-up at the least.
I wouldn't be surprised if Puddy opted to not sign though and seek game time elsewhere

But whatever he does decide to do in the future, all the very best to him.

I think we should use this summer as an opportunity to get the Gk positioned nailed for at least the medium term.
I can't throw any names into the ring myself but think we should be looking for a keeper in his early to mid twenties who is of League One calibre, with the potential to go higher. I can't see there being a better time to do this with the reliable Mildy providing competition and being able to come in if the new guy doesn't immediately settle (often the case with GKs).
Not really sure why we've offered Puffy anything tbh, yes barring shredding a few nerves in the first half at Wembley he's never let us down (I'm fully in the camp that thinks he should've been awarded a free kick at Dover); but I don't think even his biggest fan would think he has the ability/potential to be a regular in League One.

Shame. Much as I like Puddy I would rather have seen him released and one of our youngsters, ie Preston, challenge for a place.

Excellent news. I firmly believe that if Mildenhall had played all season we'd have been promoted far, far easier.

Did anyone see Mildy's reaction when final whistle went v Daggers?
(there's youtube footage from a GasHead filming from TentEnd.)
He sank to his knees.
You can see how much it meant to him. Top man, top professional (as I think DC made two mistakes with goalkeeper situ last season. Not just his decision, but publicly outing his opinion while all the while Mildenhall remained hard working and great attitude) and hope he has a successful year with us. He's earned it.

True, but that didn't stop us offering Fallon nothing. Paddy could hardly feel hard done by having earned a year's salary for 60 minutes play time.

I'm a bit shocked that Kieran Preston has been released, cos I thought that he was a lad with a future, a player that would break through given time and become an asset to the club. Anyway good luck to him wherever he ends up, and I hope that it's not one of those decisions that comes back to bite us all on our collective unmentionables.
