I was just driving through Bath and spotted Nick Higgs driving the other way in his white Bentley. At first I thought he looked quite glum, which of course I took to mean bad news about the stadium. But as I turned around to follow him he spontaneously put the roof down, and as anyone knows glum people don't tend to drive around with the top down, so I assumed he'd just had good news regarding Sainsbury's and the development of the mem site. As I followed him along the A4 towards Saltford his driving started to become more and more erratic, and on numerous occasions he seemed to brake for no reason at all, and on at least one occasion he drifted into the other lane before quickly darting back out. Clearly he was stressed. Sainsbury's have pulled out, they must have. A couple of times as we waited at traffic lights I mouthed 'Up the Gas!' into his rear view mirror and was met with a blank stare every time, and then I was cut up by a blonde lady in a Land Rover Freelander at Hicks Gate and didn't make it through the lights in time to keep following. I don't like to speculate or read into things, but this looks like bad news surely? OMG!!! That just confirms it then. RIP UWE

Brilliant and just about sums up this forum. I'll say it again , Sainsburys are not pulling the plug . intheknow - if you think that is a serious post, you need to get out more. Or are you having a bad day? Cheer up Charlie. PS I want to know if the blond was chasing NH as well.....

Why do people query the motives of someone making their first post? it soon becomes obvious if they are sh*theads. At that rate no one would ever be able to join a forum. Anyway, NH has now arrived at my place and i'll ask him. Not sure if the above is aimed at my post, but the reference to 'motives' was a joke to Nick's comments that he doesn't respond to the numerous letters he gets as he doesn't know peoples 'motives'. It was a joke and was an explanation of why he was driving funny. At that rate no one would ever be able to post on this forum. PS That was a joke as well!

Also a white Bentley?
As Dolly Parton would say:-
"its costs a lot to look that cheap'.
I am more an Aston Martin man.

Saw Tom Parkes in B&Q Filton on Saturday. He had a big cut on his nose. Makes a change - I always see him at McDonalds.

I'm just a bit gutted myself really. I've been in Bath all day and never saw Nicholas or his white Bentley once.
