Just a reminder that if you want to attend the Q&A with higgs n co ( or whoever is chairman at the time ) then today is the 1st day you can apply... if you applied before today then resend it as applications are only valid from today you need to send an email to admin@bristolrovers.co.uk and include your question if you have one!

As much as I would like to go and be a part of something that was as much bridge building and cathartic as it was probing, I just feel this is a very contrived set up and that in asking for questions before, makes it even less relevant than even I could imagine. This will be an exercise in futility with pre prepared answers that will not really get to the core of reality. The will be a homogenous meeting that will be full of stock answers from a hermitical board who do not want to answer and be accountable to it's fans. I hope that I am wrong and that those that go will feel satisfied that an attempt has been made to redress the situation that has arisen because we have been cast aside and treated as a commodity. I wish you good luck.

Seeing as how they want the Qs in advance, will they be publisising them in advance?
The whole things a bit of a nonsense, as they will have prepared answers to questions of their chosing, and no follow-ups allowed.
Jozer's crystal balls see a future with lots of 'questions' about why are the BoD so wonderful, and will DC be looking to recruit a pacy forward and an attacking right wing back etc.

Well presuming you get to ask your own question, what is there to stop anyone asking a question they really want on the night?
Whether they will answer is obviously another story all together...

They'll just say that they can only take pre-submitted questions with no exceptions or people could ask questions that they need time to find the answers too, and that would be unfair to those people as they may not get an answer on the day. I have no idea why anyone would get involved in this silly exercise, pre-submitted questions in front of a hand picked audience, pointless, but sadly typical of the regime that runs the circus in BS7.

Its rubbish, especially the not getting an email to confirm you can go, however i feel i should submit my question, even with the expectance of the answer it would get, if picked at all

But of course you are right to submit your question, at least you can then say later what it is that they didn't fancy answering.

If nothing else, if they are read by the appropriate person/people, they will have a good understanding of what us plebs think.

I would have but that would be a breach of the restraining order. The point remains, it's beyond daft to set this up so that people who don't get a reply are the ones who will be allowed in.

it's okay, just turn up on night with your email device and show them you never got an email (nb clear deleted emails first) and demand entry.

I have submitted my question to the BoD, I am pretty sure I will not get an e-mail, its a bit long though.
Why do birds suddenly appear, ev'ry time the BoD are near? Just like me, they long to be close to you. Why do stars fall down from the sky, ev'ry time Barry walks by? Just like me, they long to be close to you.
On the days that you were born the angels got together. And decided to create a dream come true. So, they sprinkled moon dust in your hair of gold and Just For Men, And star-light in your eyes of blue. That is why all the girls in town follow you all around. Just like me, they long to be close to you...
