Noticed earlier on social media Ryan Brunt has just returned (presumably from US strength and conditioning training he paid for himself).
If that's the case (and I cant confirm) assume he will be at training tomorrow for his first session? Or does anyone know if he was there last week - a few mentioned they'd watched a session or two,

I hope Ryan has a season of fully fit football with us.

I thought he went to america about a month or more ago and he said he was ready for pre season? Think he did pay for himself though.

Has he been to the states twice, if not, he's clearly been somewhere and missed the start of pre-season training last week?

Really hope we keep him. The first few games for us, before the injury, he looked keen, quick and trouble for the defences. May be brilliant at this level.

He wasn't in last week which worried me. Let's hope his injury problems are behind him.

Back in training today he just tweeted after another two weeks in America. Says he learnt and improved a lot. Hopefully he will stay with us and keep fit. Can't say he hasn't put in the effort.

All the best Ryan. If he can stay injury free for us this season then I am convinced he can be an asset.

Decent player but injury after injury takes its toll. Would still be surprised if he plays another competitive game for us.

I think if a club offered Higgs to reimburse the wages that were wasted on Brunt last season, he would bite their arm off, but I can't see that happening.

I would be amazed if he was the sort of player that would impress the City fans really, besides, I really can't see him playing for us again, just a hunch, and I hope I'm wrong but it's not looking good is it?, to my knowledge he hasn't been mentioned by DC at all so far this pre-season??

Today's Evening Post DC mentions him. "Ryan has come back from America after two weeks of fitness work and is in good shape. We'll be managing him carefully for the next couple of weeks or so and I would imagine that we are looking at getting him back on the football pitch when we go to Bath City (on July 19)."

Bath is where Ryan picked up his injury last year. I bloody well hope the pitch is watered better this year, because the bone-hard pitch was a direct contributor to Ryan Brunt and Jim Patterson's (at Hereford) injuries last pre-season. in my opinion.

Ryan is back on the training ground. Darrel Clark says he's not doing everything yet,but that should be corrected in the next week or so. He's coming along nicely and it will be 'potentially like a new signing'.
Well hopefully Ryan will get fit and have a season with Rovers, which might be best for player and club. Once he has proved he can play most games a season then he may want to leave,or stay if Rovers are FL.
Anyway,good news.
