Very nervous performance but it was all about the result and we won so that's alright. I thought most played well but we were outnumbered in midfield for much of the time and some passes were under hit and allowed Yeovil to counter attack. I would have given Macca MOM. I thought he was excellent and when we under the cosh a bit he wasn't going to let them pass. He won everything in the air. Easter really is a class act when he puts his mind to it, he just has that bit of quality which made a big difference when he came on. Again a big character test going behind with quarter of an hour to go. Well done Rovers. Stevenage is the most important match of the season now concentrate on that and win. And then move on! UTG!

Despite us not playing particularly well I'll take four more similar performances and the same result for the next four games please

Hartlepool possibly hold the key. They are currently in a good run of form and play all four around us.

To play so poorly and craft out a result is a good sign, couldn't understand what the Yeovil captain meant by having to 'play up the slope' in the second half, he sounded as out of touch as the Yeovil fans.

Where was Keith Brookman today? Chris Spittles weren't half good though, gave a lot of insight

That's a great day for us - puts the fate in our hands. Stevenage on Tuesday stands out as trickiest fixture - last 2 games against bottom 2 who should be relegated by then but Stevenage still technically need a result. I know full well that teams sometimes play better after the pressure's off but really if we were picking our own fixtures we'd struggle to do better. Most of our opponents have tougher run-ins. Ironically Wycombe's form over the last 4 games could have a major impact on our fate. Nothing can possibly go wrong now!

They are on a roll and pushing for a play of place.

Stevenage just looks a bit more of a banana skin to me.

Clearly I'm in a minority, but I thought we played quite well today.

Plenty of folk believing Gaffers had a very good game today, I must be in a minority as I thought he was quite poor. Still, he got the goal that he's been due and pleasing to see the boys come off the bench and take control of the game when they were getting on top of us. Easter IMO was excellent.

Clearly I'm in a minority, but I thought we played quite well today. I agree! Especially in defence where we held our line. Yeovile were on a bit of form and no pushovers, tricky opponents, but as said before, if we want to get out of this league the right way, we have to be beating teams like this. Godawful mistake by Lines tho...

I would add that i think a few fans need to take a breath during the game.
Yes there were times we were frustrating and giving the ball away, and the auto spots are there for the taking, but we have garaunteed the.play offs and must have exceeded most of out expectations if not hopes.
To be in with a shout of the autos is fantastic and i think we need to remeber that when we get in the ground. Some of the comments i heard yesterday were unbeleivable

I thought Gaffney was excellent. Not everything came off but he ran his arse off, he scored and he was close with two or three more. Absolutely no complaints from me, and can you imagine defending against him?! You'd never know what he's going to do next. I thought Taylor had his worst game for ages, I thought he looked tired but it goes to show what form he's in when he pops up with the winner!

Clearly I'm in a minority, but I thought we played quite well today. Not only you. I thought we played quite well albeit a bit nervously. But we always looked a threat and we could have scored 3/4 more goals. Our front 2 were always a threat esp with the running Gaffney did and to be able to bring Easter and Harrison on who also looked a threat is a good position to be in. Glad Gaffney scored, he deserved it and was a real handful for their defence and Macca and TL played well IMO. It was just that I thought we were a bit overrun in midfield at times and for once DC appeared to let it go because I guess he wanted to keep the shape and go for the win and not go too defensive. Seeing the mistakes the Oxford and Pompey goalies made which cost their teams I thought Mildenhall was great today, a bit lucky in the first half that a few early fumbles from long range shots weren't seized upon but made a few good saves near the end. Still, it was all about the result wasn't it? UTG!

When Taylor came off he looked frustrated and annoyed with himself and he was obviously wound up as he was trying to start a fight with the Yeovil Player.

Really pleased for Gaffney, a well deserved goal for all his effort and not just in this game, lets hope this opens the floodgates again for him. Not sure what was up with Matty today he seemed disinterested at times but maybe he just didn't have the energy. What a strong bench we had too, I wonder if we might see Mansell back in Tuesday, I can't see both him and Lawrence starting. I was told that the ref we had today has been promoted to the Premiership elite for next season.
