Our last few attempts at experienced managers have not ended well though Jozer, so why not try the enthusiastic, up and coming manager, it can`t be any worse than what we have had in recent years. Many have called for this approach, also with players (which also seems to be happening). It will also be a bloody sight cheaper which we must take into account due to where we are. Not saying you are wrong, but I am sitting firmly on the fence though, and will judge how successful the strategy has been midway through the season. Our last few attempts at expecting any kind of Manager to pull a miracle out of his 4r5e in six months have not been sucsessfull. It's not the Managers. I know. That`s why it`s pointless spending the extra money on an experienced manager

If Big (is that the right adjective?) Nick is going to carry on with the announcements this season, could I ask him, via the forum, to stop introducing the Rovers as "The Pride of the West Country". It makes me cringe every time.

My loyalty to Bristol Rovers is from day one been the most sincere and unflinching of any gas head. BUT would thoroughly think it a pisser if the BOD used this as some sort of approval of their running of the football club in general and the dismissive way they have treated the fans of Bristol Rovers

Great attitude. If only the BoD shared it with you, but they don't. What would you say their real target for next season is, buecause it sure isn't promotion. So what would you say the BoD target is Jozer? Until the season starts, we really don't know if DC has assembled a promotion squad, mid-table or relegation fodder. Assuming none of them leave, we have retained a solid back 5 which has to be a good start. The new players are a bit of an unknown but I do recall posts last season on the forums asking why can't we have a player like Lee Mansell (probably from the same people asking why Alan Gow would play for Exeter and not Rovers). There is no point comparing anti-board feelings with the team - two different subjects in my opinion and I'm sure the BoD target, if they have one, is promotion at the first attempt, failing that promotion via the play-offs. Let's see how the season pans out before deciding if the team is good enough or not. Pardon me for interjecting, but I would like to give my answer the question posed to Jozer. The BoD's target for next season is to safeguard their investment(s), by whatever means it takes. If it all works out well for BRFC then great, if it doesn't then tough on you lot. I'm (We're) All Right Jack Rules, OK?

Rovers fans always get behind the team - over 10,500 to see us get relegated to non-league would testify to that. Third highest attendance in the League despite being dogsh*t. Massive away followings at Pompey and Wycombe.
Time to get behind the team as if that is somehow part of the problem here? If anything was decided on the quality of the support then we would have been promoted, not relegated to non-league.
P*sses me off.
