I don't know anything for certain but I'm willing to guess something is going on. You can't tell me that the board met and didn't discuss anything? Right, and I'm a Dutchman's uncle! I can't believe this board, meetings and not saying anything afterwards, when there is clearly so much to say. If someone doesn't get a grip soon, then anything might happen, and they'll only tell us once it's happened, that much I do know!

Don't panic Beaver, they have a board meeting every month and have you ever seen any report afterwards?
Relax and have a lovely weekend.

The only thing I know is that the club I have supported & loved for over 50 years is in awful mess and I fear for its future.

NH - Welcome all, now Sainsbury's have shafted us, what the hell are we going to do? GD - Nothing to do with me, you sort it. I signed Rickie Lambert. BB - I agree it's Nick's fault. EW - Agreed TW - (creeping out from the behind the door about to plunge the knife between Higgs's shoulder blades when he turns around) NH - Toni? TW - I vos only following orders. NH - No need for this lads, I've put out a statement saying we hope to start building sometime this year, we don't need to do anything until Christmas at the earliest, something will turn up. BB - That should keep the plebs off our backs for now - same time next month? BSS - Hold on - there is a very important issue I have been asked to raise on behalf of the supporters - can the blue urinal blocks in Uplands toilets please be changed to citrus? KM - zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

If we go under and reform as afcbrfc we will only start two divisions lower. If we can secure somewhere to play it wouldnt even be that bad. At least it would be our club.

It has the ring of truth about it. Nothing about biscuits, though. Tea/coffee and biscuits are traditionally served during Any Other Business. Only plain biscuits though, no creams or chocolate ones due to cut-backs. After a particularly successful meeting, Gin & Tonic's are served in the ante-room at the discretion of the Chairman, free of charge I might add.

I have been patient and given the Board of Bristol Rovers every possible benefit of the doubt but only recently they said through BB that communication with fans needed to be improved. Well I've not seen any improvement. I've been watch and supporting for over 50 years but even I'm getting very fed up - yes, even annoyed at the total disregard of this Board for the ordinary fan. Where the hell are the so called supporters directors surely they are there to provide a link between the Board and us fans. I'm afraid it wont take much more for me to through the towel in - we need the directors to help rally moral not hind behind so call confidentiality agreement. The whole place is like an episode from Faulty Towers. Saying that where's John Cleese when you need him!

The only thing I know is that the club I have supported & loved for over 50 years is in awful mess and I fear for its future. If Sainsburys go ahead and if Darrell Clarke is as good as I think he could be then a year from now you could well be looking forward to the new season back in The League. On the other hand I'm old enough to remember when Bradford (Park Avenue) and Bradford City were similar sized clubs. I don't imagine any Bristol Rovers supporter is unaware of how important this season, indeed the next few days, could be.

Sainsbury's getting their act together and us doing the same on the football pitch (i.e. getting promoted within the next two years) is absolutely essential for the future of the football club in my opinion. Otherwise, I fear for BRFC. There's only so long that the club can remain in this state, particularly in financial terms.

It appears this numpty happy clapper was on a wind up. Very clever. Well done. Such wit. "Now, I know I shouldn't have done it, but I did..... As you may well know I have been a little peeved of late with the never ending negativity on the other forum." "Anyway, I started a thread called "I don't know anything for certain" just as an experiment. It said absolutely nothing of any substance whatsoever. So, the question is, why are our fellow fans getting so het up about it?" gaschat.co.uk/thread/374/experiment

It has the ring of truth about it. Nothing about biscuits, though. GD - The fans are suggesting we're jammy, dodgers of questions and quite clearly all crackers. They're all forming Breakaway protest groups now. NH - That's the way the cookie crumbles. GD - It's Higgs' fault for taking his eye off the playing side and Hob-Nobbing with politicians over the UWE stadium. If only he hadn't been a wafer so long... NH - Get that man a Taxi!

A moronic, divisive, troublemaking, troll. I hope this Beaver character is proud of his pathetic attempt.
