How the hell can he keep a low profile with every gashead wanting an answer and the local media picking up on the story after PMQ etc??
he either eneds to cone out and say talks are still ongoing or admit the UWE is dead.

How can he do that when he (perhaps) does not know? What do you want him to say? Is it dead in the water? If he announces that when he is trying to retrieve a situation that would be music to someone's ears (possibly Sainsbury's) because it will strengthen them.
How can he say talks are on-going if there is a major issue? He would be ridiculed if Sainbury's had already looked to pull out.
My personal opinion is that on this subject, at this time, he has no alternative but to say nothing.
The issue for him is the mistakes of the past not this one. Specifically on this one he has my sympathy and support.

He is a incompetent but the stadium is mostly UWEs and the it can't go ahead without Sainsburys so alot of stuff can get in the way as opposed to if it was actaully ours and his. That said it won't be started while we are in the conference but it won't come out and say that he will just lead us along.

There are a lot of confidentiality clauses affecting football clubs just like other businesses, but in the football world the principal stakeholders (i.e customers, media) still demand answers.
In this world of social media I think it makes the whole communication thing even harder (and in some cases for some unwinnable, almost poisonous) to me the best way of improving things is results on the pitch!
I believe in Darrell we have someone who knows the league, it will not be easy but he can deliver, but a lot will depend on the players buying in to his philosophy and tactics.

I dont understand what is confidential about Nock Higgs coming out and saying everything is ok Agreed if that is the correct situation.
What if there is something wrong but Nick is trying to negotiate the way forward? What should he say then? He can't take the bulls**t route and bluff to say everything is OK, but he also cannot say it's dead because it's not.
It's clear to me that there is an issue, otherwise why would the MP's etc be involved, but maybe it isn't dead.
Specifically on this issue I don't see what he or we can do but let it run its course and in the meantime hope...
I do however have other thoughts on other issues.

So do you seriously think Leslie got her mates to write a letter and asked at PMQ w/o some influence from her close mate NH? Why go so public if he wanted to say nothing? He could at least say negiotations are ongoing, assuming they are!

But maybe Nick is trying to get them back in line. If so I'm not sure what you want him to say.
