Four wins on the trot... the momentum is building, loving being a Gashead right now!

Is Newport who just turned over Pompey 3-0, no game is going to be easy but that does sound tough. Newport seem vulnerable at home they lost 0-3 to Barnet only last week. A winnable game in my view.

How come we never get a homer ref, just one like Homer Simpson?

A very hard won result, three great big lumps of players , appeared to play 5 at the back with four across midfield and just one up front. They obviously came and set up for a draw, they had no plan B when we scored. A very satisfying win under the circumstances and results around us went perfectly, we just need Accrington to draw or lose their game in hand over us.

That game in hand is being played this coming Wednesday at home to Wycombe, so a draw would be good! Our goal difference is looking good now. Only 3 behind Plymouth, 1 ahead of Accrington, then a big gap to the following pack.

Just wanted to add that Mildenhall saved our skins again yesterday. One massive goal line reaction save that really looked like it was going in. He stopped a couple of other very dangerous shots too and really gave the defenders some stick. Mildy has really been immense of late and I hope most are seeing that

I think that the situation was unnecessary and even though Mildenhall seemed to have lost some confidence, the loan keepers weren't exactly brilliant. Chapman was decent but none were stand out keepers. Pits funny really as I was talking to a fair few about this on Saturday and most said Mildy will have to go in the summer as he is too old and het when I said that Mansell is older, it didn't really provoke reaction. It's not like we will have to overly worry about the money now. I think there was more to it though but that is just my opinion and not based on anything other than gut feel

The other old man, McChrystal, is only 31!

It should have done. SM will be 38 in May. LM will be 34 in September.
