First half was a thousand times better than last week at Wycombe. We're competing for the ball much more although giving them a bit too much freedom down the left for some dangerous crosses to come in. Fortunately both times the ball went straight across the goal missing everyone. Ref seems OK so far and even giving us some free kicks. Supporters could be a bit more vocal although not necessary helped by being spread our across one side of the pitch. When you say first half WAS a thousand times better. Forgive me for not knowing but was this an early kick off please ?

Huge result not only for our playoff run, but also as a way to look back at the previous match v Notts Co and see the improvements. I'm very pleased so far #UTG

Am beginning to wish someone would sub this commentator! Agreed, annoying drivel. I don't have too much of a problem with what he's saying, it's the mostly monotone yet high-pitched delivery that's an earache waiting to happen. He's sounded kind of agitated all the way through, even when describing the more mundane events. Having said that, I think he's improved a wee bit over the second half, but it's still a joy in comparison every time KB opens his mouth and says something! Then again, I may have missed a lot of the drivel - I'm convinced that there have been parts of the commentary that only dogs can hear

Well done Gas, stopped the away rot. CA. We win against the Wombles on Tuesday? Other results not bad for us either! :-)

I thought the commentray was fine. Only criticism is i dont know where we r on the pitch a lot of time. Jog blogs on the ball, joe blogs on the ball 35 yards out would be better

I wondered if he was a BBC Nottingham bloke?

I think we should let John Doe have the ball.

How about that mid-field duo of alias Smith and Jones?

I wondered if he was a BBC Nottingham bloke? He seemed to know more than enough about the Rovers so maybe, maybe not. I don't mind KB. Always good for a laugh with his 'not sure what's being said down there...' How could he when he's up in a stand? :-) a couple of years ago the Gas commentary went off so they switched to the City game for a while. They had a former player as expert commentator. I think that's a good idea, could shift it between players over the course of a season. They give a better insight into tactics, etc.
