We're not on the brink of administration. That's a huge step forward. The rest will come in its own good time. I'm happy with that. We were never on the brink of administration though were we? , debts of 6 million but our only asset the Mem had a face value of 14 million but just been sold for 18 million to Crest Nicholson done deal

Not a problem if not. That's pretty quick if true. I believe, am led to believe, our debts were more than 10 million and that there were other debts that were not accountable but I could have been given duff information as you know how the club would put out such stuff. I do however believe this person.

Seriously, what would that achieve ? Whilst I am all for us be,is inf we will compete with them, the facts are very much different and even historically speaking, they had bigger crowds than us and even when we were at the same level. I really don't like the thought of 7-8K of us trying to bring about an atmosphere when in a stadium that has a larger capacity that the new Ashton gate. We need to sort the football team out first. Once we can show some sustainable success on the pitch then we can maybe dream of bigger stadium, no ? I dont care that historically they have, if we had the money backing us historically it would be the other way round. im not saying build a 60k seater, just something that now shows we will compete with them in near future and most defintely investing in the team to get us climbing. Seriously, IF Wael has the billions then maybe I could see a reason to buy our way to promotion but it seems that the billionaire tag is a false flag thing and, although he is much wealthier than Messers Higgs and co, he is not the mega bucks guy many seem to be determined to turn into reality. I believe that the entire family have a worth of over a billion but not the man himself. Personally it doesn't really bother me. We are now safe from harm and can look forward. Like bad bloodbath, I don't believe we will be quick to build a stadium but I hope we get the playing side right first

Don't see how we can sell without the result on the court case being heard. What if we win and have to sell to Sainsburys

Don't see how we can sell without the result on the court case being heard. What if we win and have to sell to Sainsburys I always thought the appeal was about damages rather than forcing Sainsburys to honour the original contract..... I could, and most probably am, wrong tho. Interestingly Lee Atkins uses this turn of phrase (damages) in his interview when talking about the court case.

It would be like selling 'coals to Newcastle' if I sold this one to Dwane Sports and whilst it would save me the cost of the bridge toll for every home match I don't think most of the rest of the 7/8000 attending would be so keen to become 'travelling support'

I heard about it a month back from someone I know who works for CN Chinese whispers? Maybe, but people were seen at The Mem surveying / measuring up a couple of months back, so something is happening.

A little birdy, who usually calls things right, was saying at the time that they were evaluating the site for residential development. I've missed Carstairs, Vegetable Lady and TRASH. But I suspect that BCC will be ready for them this time, and instead of us playing catch up with them, Wael will be more than 1 step ahead of them as well.
