Yes local Bristol. He lives in the Channel Islands so what. I live in Henley-on-Thames I'm still from Bristol like he is. On that note we've arrived at the Dons 1. Do you not want to defend his decency or morality from my incredulity? 2. What are you doing at Wimbledon? Your team are playing MK Franchise today. 3. I hope you beat MK, anyway.

The only true red fans are the ones from that side of the city and surrounding areas all the rest are glory hunters that picked the team that was doing better and had more money at the time. We don't want that kind of supporter we want true blue gasheads .Lets see what happens it's amazing what money does as you know. The mem was rocking today and the new owners had all the family there .Weather was terrible but we still pulled of a win. UTG

I'm from Downend and my dad is from Kingswood. However to call us "glory hunters" with the s**t we've put up with in disappointment down the years is laughable.
Glory hunters can be found in Bristol.
Either on Bristol Parkway platform at 9am in Man Utd shirts or in their armchairs,
I think anyone from Bristol who support either team isn't in any way a glory hunter.

By the way we were superb today against a soulless football club. Congratulations after 2 good wins you managed to take a massive 2330 to MK Dons for a championship relegation 6 pointer. What happens to the other 10000 of you on a Saturday.

Are your gates incredible for championship football , easy answer NO.

The "One tarts in Bedminster" 120 page thread about us is priceless. Love talking about us, keyboard warriors in abundance. Mocking our attendance today, considering the weather and half the ground having no roof thought it was great turn out. Sad life being a Ted.

As we both won, us from behind, and you at MK Franchise; I have nothing rude to say to you Sir. Maybe tomorrow.

This incredible turn of events has overnight transformed the balance of power. We have waited years for such a development, not on this magnitude, granted. Those arseholes who celebrated our relegation last year, laughed at the arsonists who attacked Twerton park and twice defaced the Memorial gates can go f**k themselves. We can wait a little while longer and I personally will relish the day we are truly the biggest club in Bristol. You s**theads know it's coming.

By the way we were superb today against a soulless football club. I don't agree with that at all. First half was tense and tight, but neither team seemed to have much of a cutting edge. MK gifted you two backpasses, and the second one was converted on the stroke of half-time. Outside those two defensive mistakes it was honours even I thought second half was more of the same before the defence-splitting quality pass created the 2nd. It seemed to go to the head of the moody French bloke up front 82 then had their peckers up, and played with confidence and capitalised on MK mistakes as they pushed forward. But MK still had no edge, in spite of the 2 ex-82ers, and it flattered 82 i thought Mk haven't really replaced their top 3 departed stars of last season, and I thought it showed. Cockney midget the younger shouldn't be getting carried away tho, I thought

Yes he saw top division football and us playing and beating Liverpool, Arsenal etc. However he also saw a slides through 4 divisions and the 1982 episode. Hardly equating to what we call glory hunting of those going up to Old Trafford and Emirates is it? He was and does support his local city football club. They just happen to play the other side of that same city to where he and I grew up. You're not glory hunting supporting your local team.

Hate to piss on your chips here fellas but we are a Championship club with a developed ground to push on for the PL and you are a basement league club with 8-10k attendances playing in a place I'm not sure is up to caravan site standards. I think - as per usual - you've lost all sense of reality. We are thousands of miles apart in many ways. I'd concentrate on the likes of Barnet and Accrington than worry about our level? My old teacher was fond of the expression 'Empty vessels make the most noise'. Mr Hooper was a wise man

How much tax he pays isn't really any of our business is it? He's certainly put a lot of money into Bristol which is what I care about.
And have you seen how the Government spends our tax money btw? £10k duck houses for MPs.....
Henley is ok btw

Hey morning Kaiser, firstly I wanna say I thought you were better than some of what I've read this morning? I've enjoyed talking to you before, and I'm surprised that you seem to be so angry about this, it's pretty obvious that, on a rovers forum, you would expect some excitement and anticipation of new stadium, and better times etc, Bristol has two, not one, very well supported teams in their respective divisions, and 7,400 is very respectable for league 2 as well you know. When City have AG fully redeveloped and we've got a finished new soulless south Gloucestershire bowl we'll both fill it-should we be anywhere near where we both want to be I'm sure. For perspective of our crowds down here I refer you to the two seasons City spent in the basement division: 1st season: 4,500 approx ave home crowd, promotion season: 7,100 approx ave home crowd. So it's all about the diction we are in and the state of the facilities that draw us bristolians in isn't it?!
