Bad result, not just because it is a loss but the fact so many teams have a lot of games in-hand.

I've learned that under DC this is not the disaster it would have been in previous times. I know he will be as upset as any of us and probably more so. Just one point though, I think we do lose out by not having young Ellis Harrison, as an impact sub. I bloody hate Stanley even though I admire them.

If I'm reading this new-fangled BBC Sport web page correctly, we haven't used any of our subs so far. Is that correct, or am I a bit on the slow side yet again. that set up is awful, like being sat in a class of for 5 year olds with teachers writing board in front of you

I would like to say how I don't like the new live football match thread service. The three tab approach is not as user friendly as the old layout where everything could be seen on one page. Now three tabs are used, and today the text, header and match list on the right hand side all showed different timings, the text jumped back and forward in time, and the Line ups tab didn't show any substitutions until ages after the event. The stats page doesn't show cautions or sendings off. PLEASE PLEASE revert to the old easier to read, user friendly and far more intuitive layout!

Fair play, beaten by a team more organised. I don't like it anymore than anyone else...
Milds made 3 brilliant stops before the goal.
We got what we deserved.

A win, draw & loss against Top, third & seventh. Seems about right!
Bring on the Wombles to get things back on track!

Just saw the goal. Nearly got lynched for suggesting Mildy was at fault last week for the equaliser, but that today can have no excuses. Very poor to let that one slip.

Abiding memory it was cold! There was vertical hail at one stage.
Stanley deserved to win. Although the goal was a cock up, one of the numerous crosses they keep pinging in was going to go in. Stanley nice little passing side. Deserved to win.
First 15 mins we were the better side, played ball around well, it just deteriorated after that. Gaffney apart from one great piece of skill was pretty poor. Despite the guy in front of me constantly shouting Taylor was a lazy twat thought he played well. Sinclair was well Sinclair everywhere but for the rest too many off days. We lost most second balls, and their defence contained us reasonably well.
Did I say it was cold!

What a worrying synopsis. We should be doing better than this surely ? One game in the middle of a really tough spell and the first sign of a below-par performance. Historically, maybe but even then such a comment would have been harsh and not very patient. However under DC (a manager who has shown that he is capable of crushing any lack of effort quickly) the comment is just nonsense after one dicky game. Fourth in the league (regardless of the two clubs below us who could overtake, considering their games in hand); 50% of the Jan/Feb 'tough patch' negotiated and more than 50% of the way through the season, following promotion from the Conference last season. The fans can afford to cut the players some slack, as I believe our faith in DC to keep them on the straight and narrow in the dressing room and on the pitch is well-placed. Roll on the next game.

What a worrying synopsis. We should be doing better than this surely ? Probably. But we are certainly doing better than last time we were in L2!! So there has definitely been progress in our on pitch performance. Whether or not it is enough to extend the season is a different matter. A quick calculation of our points haul thus far, projected over the remaining 17 games indicates a total in the 75 - 80 bracket. Not sure what that historically means for play off positions. Of course the problem with that projection is we could win them all, or lose them all. Who knows?

Assume their keeper is the same that we had on loan.Impressive he was with us. Actually it's not. Ross Etheridge is in goal for them today, we had Neil Etheridge. No relation I believe. If they are related, they have different mums and dads, I reckon.

Yes it was an error, but it wasn't as easy as it looked, both their player and Parkes looked like they were going to meet it, and Parkes reacted late to Mildenhall's call of leave it. Which, in hindsight, was a terrible call! Otherwise he had a fine game and made a couple of top class saves. We deserved to lose today and would have lost regardless of who was in goal.

50/50 game so far per RadBris It was for the first half hour or so, then we got steadily worse and they got steadily better. It wasn't a close game by the end, although of course at 1-0 we might have snatched a point we didn't deserve, but we didn't The highlight was Crooks missing from a yard and then missing his attempt to hang on the bar and landing flat on his face. Thats how bad the game was!
