To grow up with Bowie.
Doubt it will mean much to anybody below a certain age, but for me this is as good as it gets, just look at that line-up on stage with him.

I'm probably below a certain age but David Bowie was part of my earliest memories and I've always loved his music. And Labyrinth.
Absolutely gutted today, he was a genuine legend and this came as a total shock.

being "of that age"!! he was certainly something new on the scene and most definately opened a few eyes and caused a few gasp of "can u believe what you've seen and heard " ziggy was to me a big yes as i loved that style he brought on, but for him to just go the way he did was really a big surprise, and as his latest album is being dissected to bring his last tales to life it shows the artist he was,, one of a kind,

Very lucky indeed. Knowing that me and my brothers had saved up enough money to buy Aladdin Sane was very exciting. As was hearing that David was going to make an appearance on the Golden Shot. But it turned out to be David Bellamy.

My first single was ashes to ashes 99p from spillers in Cardiff. The video blew me away on totp. He was an innovator. My desert island album is ziggy stardust. Wonderful
