Exeter have had some decent wins against the perceived better teams. Hoping the score stays as we so need a win.

We have let the shoot four times in injury time FFS. Can't we hold on to the f*****g ball and kill the game? Absolute crap.

That's what you get when you sit back so deep on only a 1 goal lead. Shouldn't ever do it.

We have scored very late on a good few times so, I guess, it does even out over the season. It really is gutting to have it happen against you though. Still, 5 points from play off with the game in hand. Hoping we can have a decent period over the Xmas period. I think we will be able to have a better chance of seeing how we will do, at that stage. Then again, who would have thought we would make the play offs in March/April 2007 ? I certainly didn't

Well just quickly looking at ECFC forum and they seem pretty complimentary about us and most felt they were lucky to get a point but noted that .... "...they had a cheating git up front..." and "..,a hairy tramp signed from Salsbury City scored for them....."
Had to laugh at that last one! Also noted that they are happy to be unbeaten in November but were criticising Tisdales team selection in the same breath. Some you just can't win it seems.

Only my 2nd away game of the season, and we were a joy to watch, dominated the game, created plenty of chances and worked there keeper all afternoon. Gaffney looks a real find, big but not huge, good in the air but a million times more mobile than the likes of Harrold & Beardsley. The 3-5-2 system is perfect for away games, it stops us getting over-run and helps us get into the game more, Leadbitter & Brown seem alot happier at Wing Back than full back. The most important thing though, is DC is starting to develop a football philosophy, passing the ball more than most teams, the front men are moving all over the place looking to create chances, gone are the day of Wardy percentage football, full of hit and hope. A win on Tuesday and we are within touching distance of the play-offs with 26 games and 5 months of the season left.

Dominating to that extent and not winning is highly frustrating and some might say, very lax.
i was not there, but interested to know where people think gaffney will fit in... Who would he be best suited to play alongside?
from the little I have seen of him he is more in the Harrison mould than a Taylor or Easter.
I dont believe you you can keep 4 front line strikers content in a squad as at least one won't even make the bench on a regular basis. But maybe any of Easter, Ellis, Taylor or gaff could be seen in a deeper or wider role?

Gaffney and Taylor played well together, when Ellis and Jermaine came on they didn't, in fact because of the little effort they applied allowed Exeter to come back into the game and equalise.

Although we took the lead while Ellis and Easter were on the pitch! That's an inconvenient fact.

Although we took the lead while Ellis and Easter were on the pitch! Exeter had been softened up by then
