The reason given on Gaschat was that 4 diff people were going to be allocating membership numbers each starting at 100, 200, 300, etc. As it was only the person who started at 400 had the time so that's why the numbers started there.... Thanks Nerdy so the membership is around 100 or so. BRISA have justed tweetwd that over 200 have signed up so far

We were set up for two people to add member details to our spread sheets. Mine was set up to start at 451. I am now the only one adding details and I have just added the 234th member.
All have different email addresses, names and postal addresses. I have rejected a couple of duplicates.

BRISA have justed tweetwd that over 200 have signed up so far Thanks Sprout. Someone suggested earlier that you should have number 666. I'm keeping it for you if you want it.
I totally understand if you do not or if you do not wish to join.

234 is a tremendous effort but I was amazed when I saw figures of over 600. Good luck.

Seeing that Nick Higgs told me that his board had a perception that I was behind everything that questioned their performance, I think it would be wise to refrain from joining although I, like you, want the board to perform to a far higher standard. I have been saying that for 8 years though if you hadn't noticed.

I'll keep the number and add one to the total.
Sorry take one off!!!

I cannot see why any supporter would not support our desire for the board to perform at a far higher standard. Ok, I understand why some get suspicious of protest groups, action groups. action for change groups and so on. Having sat and listened to the lame excuses the board were coming out with at the EGM I'm surprised there isn't a 'lets string up the board by the goolies group', it's that exasperating ! I'll be there at the Mem as usual spending my money(including petrol and toll bridge costs) supporting the team but I'm b*ggered if I'm going to keep quiet about the boards pathetic attempt to deflect any blame for our demise to anyone or anything else !

Hi all,
Quite aware of the lack of debate re BRISCA over here on gaschat, maybe due to the separate folder. Feel free to post on the main board Gas works and I will move threads to the separate folder when they drop out so there's a bit of an archive but you still get exposure on the main board. I put in the separate section as I was originally asked to.
For the record, I have my own opinions and anything I post that does not directly mention Gaschat or the moderator team is my own view and should be treated as such. I'm no spokesperson. I am still undecided on a personal level which is why it would be good for more updates on gaschat for those of us in limbo. I know we are small and many of our members use both forums but there will be some still in the dark without the updates.
Regardless of methods, we all have the same motive and I respect people trying to make positive changes. I am a bit of a happy clapper so some pills are harder to swallow but the respect is there I assure you.
Good day Sirs,

Just a thought. But how much does a quarter page advert cost in the evil, post sports section. Might be good to advertise Brisa to a wider (non forum reading) audience. Maybe timed just before season kick off or on the Monday after our first fixture.

The peolple involved in the seeting up of BRISA are having a catch up tonight (tues)... after that there should be a piece in the Bristol Post within a few days which should be as good as an advert... If any wants to help out with the organising and running of BRISA please PM me JeffNZ or Gassedup you can always join us this evening if your available ... i hear that JeffNZ is buying the beers

I have been saying that for 8 years though if you hadn't noticed. Unfortunately you have become a perceived focus of rebellion that the current board can conveniently use at will. I have seen you post asking people not to mention you and yet it seems some just do not take your wishes into account. I do however feel the good intention behind most of those. I guess you know you have a lot of support mate. It certainly raises the hackles to have a lifelong fan banned in such an awful manner and on what are trumped up reasons. I hope that the club see sense sooner than later. I just wonder, would you still go if the ban were lifted ? I do t think that I would after the nonsense that has gone on but that is me
