We're looking at a way to put a link at the bottom of each thread that will take you to the forum list.
If you want a quick way of scrolling to the top, there should be an arrow that appears on the right hand side of a long thread which will take you back to the top. Otherwise, you'll have to wait until we've found a bit of coding that adds the new button in!

I find it's quickest to just hit the "home" button on my pc. Buttons at the bottom of each page would be better though if there's a way to get them.
You admins must be exhausted. Looks like it's been a long day.

I've made a small adjustment that moves the navigation bar to the bottom of the thread, just under the quick reply box after you scroll down to the bottom of the page. See pic below: This means that once you get to the bottom of the page, the navigation bar moves to the bottom rather than the top. Not sure if this'll annoy some people, so I've just done it as a temporary measure to see what people think, or until I can find something that does the job better.

Can't see why anyone wouldn't like it, but I'll go with the majority Edit: I like the box you've put round quotes too. Keep up the good work

Yes really like the box round the quote you've produced and putting the navigation bar at the bottom makes sense, as Angas says you can always hit your home key if you want to go straight back to the top of the thread. Fabulous work admin

Sorry, I can't find the thread where you said if we had any other requests ... I have one. Can line spacing be made the same as it was on the other forum. When there's a bit piece of text I find it's all crammed a bit too close together. On the old forum it was spaced out a bit more. Comparisons OLD - z13.invisionfree.com/Bristol_Rovers_Alt/index.php?showtopic=2299 NEW - gasheads.org/thread/41/readOf course, it may just be my eyes - in which case ignore.

Will take a look at it when I'm back at my computer - can't see those links on my phone, but if so, it's probably something I can fix in the coding. Will keep you updated. I think request for tweaks and modifications are popping up all over the place, so just need to remember where I've made promises I can't keep

Hi @bladder and Angas - I've made a change that should make it easier to go back to the forum topic list as well as back to the top of the thread - if you look down at the bottom right hand corner of each topic (before the quick reply box) there are now buttons that perform the above functions. See screenshot below. I've taken out the code that moved the navigation bar to the bottom, because it was annoying me that it then disappeared from the top of the page! Hope all that helps, but as always, just give us a shout if you notice anything else that could be tweaked. Cheers!

Had me confused for a minute, then I realised you'd done another great job. Have to say I'm very impressed with the way this forum is developing notworthy . Don't suppose you lot fancy running a football club ...
