Well done Gas. Why can't we reproduce this at home too? Still another three points in the bag! :-)

We had an honest hardworking team to be proud of last season, and we've got another one this season, there's going to be ups and downs because at this moment in time we have a mid-table team, a couple of additions in January and DC continuing to work his magic we could well have another great season. We are only one third of the way through the season but it's already been a million times more enjoyable than the previous 4 football league seasons we've had put together.

I agree with pretty much most of that. Quite why people have to be doom & gloom at every opportunity is beyond me, enjoy the ride!

Lots of if's, but if we can keep up this away form and find some sort of worthwhile home form we could be fighting out up the top before long.

If we keep up this away form we might only need 9 or 10 home wins to go up?? I'm really pleased for MT and EH getting the goals too. In Darrell we must trust utg

We were much better after the break and should have scored more goals, but both of our goals had a huge element of poor defending about them. Never mind!
Taylor changed things when he came on. Harrison came alive in the second half as well and both players deserved their goals.
Cambridge will feel hard done by but I didn't think they were very good at all after the break.

Good to hear, sounds as if Taylor made the difference tonight, well done to him and to the manager for whatever he said at half time. And to the supporters who dragged themselves all that way on a Friday

My first game for nearly 2 years ( I live near cambridge)
great at to see us win. Thought we played some nice football at times and showed very good grit to cone from a goal down.
a draw may have been a fair result but so what.
taylor helped us and their substitutions seemed to weaken them.
my only other comment is that we seemed to struggle at both ends of the pitch due to a lack of height.

Train delays so just back. The first half was awful. We were dismal and they were / are a poor side. Second half we were all over them like a rash. Taylor made a huge difference, made the first, scored the second and brought a fantastic save from the goalie to deny us a third. How Harrison missed that free header from 6 or 8 yards out only he knows (it hit the bar and over) A good three points. Sort the home tactics and we will be in for a decent season, I feel.

Great win and sorry to be slightly negative but do we watch the opposition before we play them?
All credit to DC for being able to change a game. However should we not be looking to start the game in the same manner as we play after he has made the changes? Is it that the opposition have utilised tactics to negate us?
We seem to start many games poorly and then be able to change it around in a positive way. Last year Gateshead completely outplayed us in the first half with what must have been a previously used style and we should have known how to counter their system from the start. We did in the second half. It seems to me to happen far too often.
Anyone at the game have any comments?
