Rovers playing well, keeping Mansfield at bay, playing two upfront seems to be working. Ellis hold up play is woeful, vital that Matty stayed up there to look after the ball. Most pleasing thing from today is that 3-5-2 clearly worked well in that first half, just like it has in other games, the reaction from the majority when we play it is frustrating. Under Ward we were far to predictable playing 4-5-1 every week, we can't keep sticking to 4-4-2, and the 3-5-2 gives us a completely different system to play. Good to see our players scrapping today aswell, always felt we could be a timid and reserved at times. |

Handball by Thomas but not seen by the ref, Gas manage to play it out of defense. Harrison needs to stay calm as he is on 4 yellows and it looking like a 3 game ban for easter.

Just been pointed out with Easter off for 3 games (likely) Harrison is on 4 yellows and thus one booking away from a one match enforced rest. Would make interesting selection headache for DC.
