I thought Blondie (the band) sounded really good. Debbie Harry sounded a bit wheezy but looked astonishing for a 68 year old.

tv wise saturday i thought was rather a turgid affair!! from 9 ish on, Jake bugg 10 minutes of him was more than ample, and as for Metalica well enough said, [not my scene i will admit] but rather heavy and ott for me 3 tunes and that was enough for me,

Rodrigo y Gabriela were amazing - at Colston Hall in November. Biggest laugh was ESG, great entertainment. Dolly is the Queen!

Quite enjoyed Haim, Kodaline, Paolo Nutini, Robert Plant, Jack White and The Wailers.

I don't remember an awful lot if I am being honest, but I am pretty certain I had fun!
All three headliners were very good this year I must say. Arcade fire in particular were insane!
Roll on October now and another stressful and hopefully joyful day of ticket hunting!

Wading through iPlayer; what a treat.
Cover myself in mud while I'm watching; a couple of roll-ups (with additives) and some strong beer, and bang! there's the atmosphere recreated, it's just like I'm there.
The Pixies are stand-out, wish the bass player was Kim Deal, but her replacement ain't too bad.

Just watched the genial Robert Plant ( I was going to say evergreen), he never lets you down, said it before and I'll say it again: there's nothing wrong with a great big dollop of nostalgia.
Liked the duo Royal Blood and Metallica were competent but not spectacular - enjoyed them though.
Anyway plenty more to see and hopefully a gem still to be discovered by this left-wing-liberal-hippie with his head in the 60s but his heart embracing all music from every era.

26 minutes.......and sold out,,,,,,,,,, some draw to an event that only a few people know who is likely to be performing.......where else could this happen?
