I now nothing of Charlie, but weren't Salisbury mid table last season? Surely we need a more prolific duo up front if we aim to get promotion?

He went there on loan towards the end of the season scoring 5 in 9 and lots of assists. Was also on loan at Dartford scoring 4 in 10 and previously scored 30 in 46 for Dartford in 2011. Scored for fun in non league 19 in 39 for Welling, 17 in 28 for Bishops Stortford, 6 in 5 at Cambridge City. Has struggled a bit in league football but at this level he is superb.

Surely with more pressing positions, will we sign another striker unless Brunt gets crocked again (likely) or leaves as well?

He only got the ONE assist for Salisbury and also scored 1 goal in 18 games for Wimbledon (not good enough). He always used to score against W-s-M, but I personally don't rate him and think someone like Brunt is a much better player.

Wes you dont seem to like anyone that you have not reccomended yourself, he has scored loads at our level and Jamie White loved playing along side him. Seems quite likely to score 1 in 2 for us so a better bet then someone ten leagues down who has got 50 in a season in the scrotum and badger league. I havent said he would play ahead of Brunt but a decent replacement for Harold. We can move these guys on if we go up if not up to league standard.

I rated Elliott Frear, Ricky Miller and Adam Marriott that I understand we were in for. It's just an opinion, doesn't make it right or wrong. It's a game of opinions, I can't rate everyone all of the time.

Let's hope we have pace, we need pace!! Haven't said this for a long time, but aren't we good for pace up front now, with Taylor and White? I'm more concerned about getting some experience in the team, but that's difficult as the players are usually on their way down. Do we need experience up front? Gow (if fit) and Mansell have pace in AMC, but is that enough in midfield? Back 5 has plenty of experience obviously

Jamie Cureton could add experience up top :-)
Gary Jones, Sergio Torres or David Prutton in the middle ? Would have to be a good offer though

A mate of mine who's Wimbledon through and through, and his mate who is a goldmine of football / Wimbledon related stuff, like a train spotter tells me, without hesitation, that sheringham was utter, utter, crap! We must aim higher.

We must aim higher. Fair doos but we are in an utter utter s**te league. We are talking a league where Akinde is one of the best players. I want us to sign players with a proven record of scoring goals at this level, not league level. Lets get out this league, ship out those not up to league standard in June and push on.

We should be signing players that fit the overall philosophy of DC, I just hope there's a philosophy and it's not based on a Big Brother type scenario of randoms in a pressure environment

Will we have one at the club ? Or is it square pegs in round holes etc for next season once more !

Let's hope we have pace, we need pace!! Agreed. And equally important passion. We need wingers with pace and a trick who can beat the full back, and delivers a ball which beats the first man. UTG
