Harrison bailing out DC again, so lucky we didn't rip up his contract after City away.

Decent result, let's go one better next week.
I missed Barnet as I was on crutches, so.....not seen a win or even a goal!

'They had Hard luck mind!' I was listening to the Radio Bristol phone-in earlier, and it's safe to say that everything is their managers fault according to the contributors, including tactics, personnel and transfer dealings. They were most certainly not happy bunnies, and seemed concerned as to how they would fill their magnificent stadium in the making. How quickly times change, eh?

Ok, a decent performance and result today. Even radio Devon asked Plymouth manager we could have won it at the end? Remarkable achievement to compete with a team 2nd in this league, on their own turf, legitimately without aid from officials.
Brilliant away day, over 10,000 crowd, Gas packed away end in full voice, sun shining!
It wasn't all plain sailing. We were under pressure alot, especially in first half but to be honest confined Plymouth to half chances. We set our defence up strong, organised and for first time in while I have more faith in a solid keeper.
But.....tbh, I still feel we don't exploit the width enough. And when we are on flanks, we don't provide enough support. Twice, (Bodin and Montana) were on a great run down the right, beat one and two man but lost the ball because no outlet in attack.
Also, first half again it was hoof ball up to small blokes up front. Again. Frustrating.
Our movement off the ball when in possession was lacking in final third until last 15 mins. Ellis/Lucas/Montana made some space. We looked awesome last bit of match, their keeper made save of match from Ellis header.
We have potential and it's encouraging. I just wish we had more belief. If Lines' lunge would've gone in the away end would have been mayhem!
I think a fair result as for all Plymouths huff and puff they only created one real clear cut should've scored chance.
Three attacking subs saw us out the match on top, and with end to end last few mins a great advert for Division 4 football. We are an infinitely better team than I have see for years. Yes we aren't there yet, but heading in right direction.
And with Pompey skipper sent off today, being them on....we'll more than give them a game and it's encouraging.
UptheGas!
