I did notice on the northern section of the M25 there are the grey speed cameras on the gantry posts at the side of the motorway.
That should not bother anyone as I assume Gasheads do not exceed 80 mph.

They might as well take them down as Leads is injured...

Don't bother me, I'll either be doing 69mph, (remember, no mercy with speed cameras) or I'll be going so fast they won't have time to record me.
Love to all,
Leads.

Hopefully they don't exceed 70 mph or is the 'national' speed limit different on the M25 to the rest of the country ?

from the Orient forum:
no access from A406 Northbound onto M11, all traffic forced to stay on A406 to Waterworks roundabout. Will have a knock on effect for traffic travelling south down the M11 heading for Waterworks. You and I hope Bristol Rovers have been warned, regards xx :geek:
Source-TFL.
Add to that.....rail link from Tottenham Hale to Stratford closed Saturday so all Bishops Stortford trains down Lea Valley line terminating at Liverpool Street not Stratford.
Also Spurs home to Everton KO 5.30pm, North Circ will be fun !
Olympic Stadium may be more of a hindrance than a help tomorrow, with some road closures in the park & extra people on public transport traveling to Barbarians v Samoa there at 3pm.
Plus there's also EuroHockey Championship games all day at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre.
And the International Handball Cup in The Copper Box.
So good luck getting to the game folks, especially those who need to find parking!

There is a 5% margin of error, plus I believe 2mph, so that should mean under 76mph, you cannot be booked.

I went on a driver awareness course recently, and the guy running it said that the cameras are set for 70mph. NO MERCY.
The allowance is what a police man in a car will usually allow. The machines don't allow for it.

How the heck do you get to that speed on the M25 over a Bank Holiday w/e? Or most any other time come to think of it! Lucky to get out of 2nd gear in the circular car park.

Well, he said it to the lady next to me who got done for 74 mph on the M32. If you get up to 70 on the M25 you will receive a bid from Cockerel.
