Quite normal in my experience over past 12 years or so to be still waiting a week before. Working it this year so it's a freebie in exchange for 3x8hr shifts on viewing platforms so it's good to give something back.

one happy bunny, tickets have been delivered!!!......now its a SUN DANCE FOR THE NEXT 3 WEEKS Assuming this is your first, and apologies if it isn't, don't worry about the rain, the place is better with a bit of it as it's a dust bowl otherwise, after the floods of 07 the Eavvi spent £250k on drainage. Please don't come home and post to say you didn't go to South East corner, a real eye opener in every sense

No Foo Fighters.........so Florence gets an upgrade..good call me thinks She is as mad as they come, a couple of years ago a few of us were crashed (spaced) out at the Rabbit hole in the Park on a hot Saturday afternoon with some bloke playing chilled spanish acoustic, then this woman dressed as a fairy off her nut flew by, well she wasn't flying but you know what I mean, then a few people said that's Florence. To this day I have no idea why I joined a small group of people and followed her and a small camera crew up the hill behind the RH, she had a series of photos done with the backdrop of the fest in the background, it was a weird, small but personal gathering with a fruitcake of a gorgeous woman having her pics done and chatting to a load of stoned strangers, one of many crazy 'moments' experienced over the years that IMO make the place what it is

I thought the other stage was the place to be yesterday (I'm watching it on TV and red button). Great performances by Jungle, The Courteeners, Catfish and the bottle men, Mark Ronson and Rudimental.

I watched the whole set hoping it would get better....... It didn't. If I watch a live show I want to see the band, not hear taped backing music and interaction with the audience may have helped. My son who is there thought it was brilliant, so each to their own I suppose.

Think that they are dammed if they do, dammed if they don't...I can remember the furore of Jay-Z headlining the main stage all those years ago. Guess that they could have gone 'mainstream' and got Coldplay to headline but that would no doubt have irritated some.

Paul Weller, Rudimental and Gaslamp Killer were memorable for all the right reasons, 6 days in the fields and I'm beat, wandered across Pyramid field about 6 this morning in a mind altered state and saw a bloke in the quarters so couldn't resist going up to him and giving him a hug much to his amusement. Plenty of good moments and met some new people who were absolutely crackers, the music is always secondary these days to the people, time to catch up on some sleep and hope to feel at least slightly normal in the next week.
