Really feel for Grimsbury, thought they were the better team today but that's football.
Ecstasy for now relief for next season.
Now for the next big win at the High Court.

Ha Ha ...my live stream dropped out for the whole penalty shoot out...but who cares! Mine kept pausing just as the players hit the penalties. Bloody excruciating! GET IN BOYS - BACK AT THE FIRST ATTEMPT!

So pleased for all the Rovers supporters who stayed loyal and followed them around the country in great numbers, sadness for my mate who died after they were relegated and didn't see today.

Watching on TV, thought the penalty kicks were very confidently taken and didn't show any nerves regardless of the pressure they were under (particularly Lee Mansell).
Great to be back in the Football League!!

Well what to say, DC was right grimsby were the better team. Had friends message me on Facebbok about how wrong it was to take off Puddy, but what a decision to make. Feel so proud and any other team looking at our manager F*UCK off he is ours, and Chris Lines better be a rovers player next season!

So happy for DC - he took responsibility for the relegation, promised to return us to the FL and he has delivered! And in process has brought the club together and produced a side that want to play for the Gas!

Have had three life changing 'Let -Downs' in my 69 years so far,one of which was after the Mansfield game a year ago.To-day ,that is behind me and so relieved I won't have to go to Braintree again. Thanks everyone for this season. Not sure we deserved to win to-day but we did deserve to go up over the season.More skill needed but excited muchly about the fixtures coming out and already planning a bus to Carlisle to meet relations who support them and who were the first to contact me after to-day's game.Well done DC.Well done to everyone.Celebratory drinks party planned next Fri in Staffordshire.

Fantastic result. Feel like I can breathe again now, after a very very long time. Hoping for the double now!

Don't know why people say Grimsby were the better side, I thought it was pretty even stephens myself. They defended high and stifled the midfield like they did at our place and got it to their pacy forwards when they got the chance. I thought their forwards looked more dangerous than ours but our midfield had more guile and threat to it than theirs and theirs tired before ours and looked Conference level. Defences were equally as good. It was a tense game with a lot at stake, you can't expect free flowing football in those conditions. I was amazed at how well the penalties were struck. Mansell was so cool. Both teams deserved to win really.

The nerves hit our players big time in that opening 20 minutes, and then Grimsby seemed like the occasion was getting to them in that final 15 minutes of the first half. Both teams battled extremely well, and for the first time this season i saw a team slightly fitter than us, but the way players held it together for over 2 hours plus penalties was superb.

I think it's difficult to be objective when a game is so close and cagey, it always feels like the opposition have an element of control. But, yes, it was very even, neither side deserved to lose. After we scored we were well on top for the rest of the half and really should have punished them further. The first half would have been brilliant for the neutral; the second half and extra time were agonisingly cagey where neither side had any real control. The penalties were top drawer!

"Chrisblor 8 minutes ago We comprehensively outsung twice as many plastic Bristol male masturbators. Really hope the court case for their new ground goes against them and they come straight back down next season. A pathetic team of cheats with awful supporters who deserve nothing."
A bitter Mariner it would appear. I thought Grimsby were just about the better team on the whole but there wasn't much in it. Balls of steel to confidently stroll up and calmly slot home five excellent penalties under the pressure so credit to the boys. DC is my absolute favourite person, Ollie was most definitely right... WE HAVE OUR ROVERS BACK! UTG.

I sat stock still for the penalties. After Mansell scored I cried like a baby. So relieved, elated etc. I am so happy for Darrell, he has achieved something very special and under immense pressure. Lets all relax for a few months and enjoy the moment. They don't come along that often.
