I really like Hereford as a club. Always had good away days there and the fans seem to be a decent bunch. I hope they get everything sorted.

A Tommy Ogombar,London Businessman, has said the outstanding payments and wages will be paid within a few days.He seems to be the new 'owner'.Wants Bulls back in the FL and is confident this will happen.
The PAYE tax demand still remains,so the winding up order brought on by Martin Foyle remains a threat (x Manager fighting a club on its knees, okay he wants his ridiculously inappropriately high wages but Bulls really have been on the floor, somehow sad).
I assume Tommy Ogombar has a plan for this.

Tommy Ogombar has had an interesting past if you look at the Hereford Utd forums, you do have to wonder what is intentions really are in buying the club as it doesn't seem to have any history of supporting them, sometimes it does make you feel we are fortunate to have our BoD!!!

Fred Carno's bloody circus!, the only issue is paying the people Keyte didn't, and frankly that involves everybody. Apparently This Tommy Ogombar had meetings yesterday with Keyte but more encouragingly with HUST. I've followed the Bulls along with Rovers since we moved to Hereford in the 60's, and frankly I cannot remember anything like this. The silver lining may be though that dodgy linesmen and referees will be in no doubt that their kneecaps are at risk, and lorry drivers may think twice about clogging up the merton meadow car park.

Peter Beadle would know. The situation has boiled down to a meeting on Friday when the Hereford Directors meet with the Conference board. The investors will pay all debts provided they are included in the Conference, I doubt they will pay anything if they are not.

:02am Thursday 5th June 2014 in Hereford United Latest News By Ian Morgan
HEREFORD United must pay their football creditors in full by 5pm tonight (Thursday) or face expulsion from the Football Conference.
That’s the stark warning from Football Conference general manager Dennis Strudwick, who says United have ‘a lot of work to do’ to remain in the competition.
London businessman Tommy Agombar has been officially revealed this week as United’s new owner with David Keyte continuing as chairman.
And United’s staff have been assured by the club they will be paid outstanding wages before 3pm today (Thursday).
But yesterday morning, Strudwick said United had not yet replied to an invitation to the Conference’s board meeting at which the club’s immediate future will be decided.
And Chester, who were relegated on the last day of the season, will be hoping for a reprieve at the expense of the Bulls.
“The whole thing needs some clarity and it needs clarity very quickly,” Strudwick admitted.
“We do not have the authority to discuss the club’s affairs with a third party.
“The club need to submit a form to the FA and will need approval to the FA before we deal with any new owner in any authority on behalf of the club.
“Hereford United must settle their debts with football creditors by 5pm on Thursday – and the club are well aware what they need to do. The club have known this since May 14.
“Hereford United are not a position to call the tune - they must abide by the rules of the competition like the other member clubs in the Football Conference.
“We will also need a budget which must be compelling and detail that the club will not only meet their requirements for next season but how they will deal with the current debt, including an impending winding-up order from Revenue and Customs.”
Strudwick added: “I don’t want to prejudge this matter but, if a club fails to pay off their football creditors, they face being expelled from the competition and that includes the Conference North or South.
“In my opinion, football creditors are the wages owed to players and staff, other football clubs, the Football Conference, FA and the County FA.
United’s fate will be confirmed at the Conference’s board meeting which takes place tomorrow (Friday) at the Celtic Manor in Newport, starting 10.30am.
The Conference annual general meeting is being held on Saturday, starting at 11am.

Players are tweeting that they remain unpaid, so I imagine Keyte has headed for Barbados the same way he did when the last HMRC winding up order was due to be heard. £ 78,000 wasted in what has proved to be a futile effort by not only Bulls fans but clubs countrywide and 2 concerts by Omad Djalili to pay that one off. Keyte has proved not only to be a crook, he is also a coward, I hope that the VAT people have him arrested if he should return to Britain or if he is still here they send the Police straight around his house. Keyte took over with over £ 400,000 in the bank, with the Mathieu Manset money following hard on it's heels. Keyte is scum, he has paid no one in spite of repeated promises to players, staff, and suppliers. Fans have bailed the b'stard out at least twice, he will go down in history as the arse that sunk a once proud little club.

Hereford United have FAILED to pay football creditors by 5pm deadline set by Football Conference and face relegation from the structure. Tommy O is apparently still offering to clear the debts if the club are guaranteed entry to the Conference next season, I guess a deal could still be done if the Conference don't want to lose Hereford ad a member. Although I doubt Chester will be to pleased if Hereford aren't thrown out tomorrow.

Nope. They are going to be thrown out and Chester reinstated. I know you wouldn't do it but don't ever try to hold a gun to the Conference Board. Never, ever. It is a Tinpot League but I can tell you they don't **** about like the Football League or take weeks to come up with a solution/answer.
Which reminds me. Anything happening on the Wycombe Wanderers front?

So. It looks as if that is it. Club sold for £1 and only two directors left.

It is being reported that the Conference Board meeting is expected to go on until 6pm, and possibly later, with Bulls Chairman David Keyte having been in the room twice along with a man believed to be one of Tommy Agombar's advisers.

Time to step up to the plate for Agombar and Keyte as the Conference give the Bulls until 10am Saturday morning to settle their debts and retain Conference status. In simple terms pay the people what they are owed, there are no excuses not to now!.

I thought i recognised the unusual name 'Agombar'. There was a half decent player playing for Grays a couple of years back called Harry Agombar. It was rumoured/alleged his dad (Tommy) was chipping in on wages to enable him to move to Macclesfield. Just looked up and he was recently at Swindon, where apparently he his dad was involved at boardroom level. Expect to see Harry with daddy anytime soon, steptoeshorse.

Apparently it is a done deal Wes. I don't know anything about his dad other than what i wrote before, but Harry was named in the Ryman Division One North Team of the Year a couple of years ago and does have some talent, despite the obvious nepotism and his dad boosting along his career. Good luck to Hereford, i hope it all works out well for them in the end.

Third time LUCKY!
www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27737734
Hereford United have been given a stay of execution by the Football Conference as they wait to see if they will be allowed to remain in the league.
"The board unanimously agreed that the club can retain membership of the limited company and their place in the Football Conference Premier Division providing financial payments are secured as directed by the board,"

I'd thought we'd been told that the Conference board didn't mess around & were quick to dish out the punishments? Better file that along with the Conference being a better league than L2.
