There used to be a picture of Kitey in the bar of the Dolman stand playing for City.

We were told a couple weeks ago- thought they wanted it kept quiet until after final game.
He's struggled with injury himself so we were not surprised - whether thats the reason who knows, or just time to step down and do what he wants.
Hopefully there will be agreat turn out at his game

The one constant from the Ollie years to now. Absolute top man and Gas legend. Good on Pulis, bringing West Brom down.
Hopefully he brings out a book, entitled "I know where the bodies are buried", and tells us in detail what happened with Buckle on that Tuesday night.

It would be nice to have one person associated with the club who could be seen rising above it all and keeping an eye on the big picture. Might as well be Phil Kite.

Absolutely top bloke. Will be strange to see another physio around, but maybe he has some sort of indication... Hopefully we'll deliver him a promotion as thank-you gift.

Phil Kite roaring on the fans while walking in front of the away end last night was a highlight Yep but we were singing "sh*t goalkeeper" as he walked past us and he cupped his ear and laughed, I think he realised we weren't singing it at him

Retiring? What is going to do. He isn't that old The benefit of being 55 and being able to access your pension pot in full. Kitey has invested wisely over the years so good luck to him reaping the rewards. edit: the bugger is only 52, he must have sold a few of his houses. Not to mention the fact that his pension pot would be taxed as income if he took it all. 40% tax...

I hear his memoirs will be due out later this year, Volume 1 (of 6) entitled Knee Injuries and their Treatment, to be serialised in the Sun with a working title of What a Knees Up.
