Westcontry -- Yes we have played at home on the same day before.Think it was in 1970 City home to Wolves while Rovers entertained Luton in the cup. And earlier this season. Either way I am very surprised they're letting us play these two games simultaneously. Asking for trouble, in my opinion. Hopefully I'm wrong and this'll be a precedent and we'll never have to move a game cos they're at home ever again.

Just cannot see how it could work us playing the same day as City, both of us with sell out crowds, we've never played the same day before. It's a disgrace how the police and football authorities would let a bus tour take priority over a play-off match. The conference have been saying for the last week or so that our game was on the Bank Holiday monday, i'm away on a stag weekend until Monday morning, will be well and truly shafted if it's changed yet again. Looks like you're missing out then old fruit.
You can thank DC for that, had he played the best player in the squad more regularly instead of disgracefully consigning him to the super sub role we'd have won the league by now.
Had he utilised his loan players properly, not played negative football and not played players out of position on Saturday we'd be going into Saturday odds on favourites to win the league.
Suppose you can say without him we wouldn't be in the playoffs in the first place, which also stands up as without him we wouldn't be in this god awful league in the first place.
Have a top weekend with the lads, hope they're not all like you.
XOXOX
Yeah all dc's fault we went down f all to do with the s**te players we had

Sorry everyone but i'm not going to keep posting when someone with severe mental health issues continues to harass and abuse me on this forum, I've ignored several posts from him in recent weeks which according to some is the best thing to do (which it clearly isn't), but he's crossed the line. Why he's been allowed to re-register several times and continually post i do not know. He's singled out and stalked other posters in recent years, and i don't feel comfortable posting on a messageboard that has a dangerous individual on it.

Look at it another way. 12,000 City fans are 'locked in' an all ticket game in chavminster, against a team with no serious beef with the Robins (Walsall), and will be all happy clappy at finally buying a title for the first time since rationing finished [did they ration brain cells as well?] and at the same time 11,000 Gasheads are 'locked in' an all ticket match in the Garden of Eden against a team with no known hooliganism or 'history' with the Rovers naughty boyz. The streets will be deathly quiet. The biggest worry for the cops would be us losing and not taking it too well!

He's still at it then. You've only three options. Ignore, which doesn't work. Block which means at least you don't have to read his nonsense. The last resort is to take yourself off the forum. Why should you have to. And what would it solve. He'd just find someone else to target. Time he was dealt with imo.

A reminder to everyone that it is perfectly possible to block a member and thus ignore every post they make - just go to their profile and click on the cog icon to reveal a 'block member' option.
We try to be as fair as possible in allowing freedom of speech while warning posters when they sail close to the wind - we have taken temporary and permanent action against posters in the past, but we realise that we won't be able to please everyone. That being the case, if someone's posts affect your enjoyment of the forum so much that you would rather you didn't see their posts, consider using the block feature.
Obviously people can continue to report posts that cross the line and the admin team will try to come to a fair decision.

Westcountry once posted Ellis should have his contract ripped up. The same Ellis who has scored 5 in 4 games.
Westcountry slated Wardy for negative tactics, DC whom he loves has been negative in recent games.
Westcountry slated Wardy for playing players out of position, DC played a combination of Taylor, Harrison and Blisset on the wing Saturd.
Westcountry slated Wardy for not playing loan players, DC has criminally underused Adam Dawson
If I should be banned because Westcountry cant debate then so be it but hoe pathetic a forum is that?

So sorry for supporting the team that this forum is about, despite not even living in Bristol I've been to more games than both you and Westcountry could dream of.

Firstly, you're not getting banned for anything you've posted on this thread. Secondly, it's not a competition about who's gone to the most games, everybody's got different circumstances and pressures on their time, finances and priorities. Thirdly, give it a bloody rest, you're a good poster when you talk about the football or genuinely post something witty, but petty little digs at people you've got a grudge against get more tedious by the day. Message to other people - if someone winds you up enough that it seriously impacts on your enjoyment of the forum, then we have a very good 'block member' feature specifically for that purpose. Serious complaints will always be discussed by the admin team and dealt with where appropriate, but everyone can play a part in defusing situations by just not responding to people who are fishing. End of admin message.

Absolutely. Hopefully it will all still work out, but if it doesn`t, Clarke`s half witted tactics against a Dover team who clearly had their minds on the bars of Faliraki, could well have cost us automatic promotion. It wasn`t a great drive home from the game. Every few seconds, a deep sigh.

Personally I think the Dover home game that ended 1-1 after leading 1-0 and conceding in injury time and the Chester away game that ended 2-2 after leading 2-0, were worse than last Saturday at Dover. Performance wise anyway. I mean how could we throw away a 2-0 lead at Chester!! We should have won this league before last Saturday game at Dover.
