If I was 24 and a football player and I was a Rovers supporter would want to play for them? That we be a no then, God so many moaners and "experts" on here as well as the " I don't know, so I will make it up," brigade and of course the "supporters" who have yet to learn how to be a supporter

I was just wondering if people think we may have another high paid player who is constantly injured? I think dropping 3 divisions at the age of 32 is a bit strange and the guy did have a lot of injures earlier in the season at millwall! This is not me having a dig at the player, I was just wondering if the club will get value for money out of a player who I was told is on 3k a week.

It would be financial suicide for us to pay someone £156,000 a year, I doubt even our ex league players are on that. There is no logic to us paying that sort of money in non league. However there's one sure way to confirm what you were told and that is for you to qualify where you got your information from, you don't have to say who but unless it was his agent, someone on the board or Easter himself then it would appear to be pure speculation. Unless of course whoever told you has been rummaging through his refuse bin and found his payslip ?

If theres one positive thing to come out of Easter-gate injury crisis, is it brought on Ellis.
And when Matteeeee Taylor was subbed, on came Blissett.
For me, the best link play of any two forwards this season, was the Ellis/Bliss combo. Including one amazing flick for Ellis to score.
Ever cloud...

Certainly in the 2nd half Ellis was playing off the shoulder of his marker and could have been put through before the chance Blissett created. I think the ball hit the back of the net before the goalie dived, an excellent clinical finish by Ellis.

I'm not saying this is right or wrong, but but just passing on some information. I work with a Millwall fan who has seen him in action (and inaction). When I told him we had signed Easter, he said "Good luck there mate. Waste of space. If he plays he'll be crap. If he plays at all you'll be lucky."
This is not a wind up. I was told this some weeks ago, but I didn't comment because I wanted to give him a chance.
Not my views - just telling you what others think. Kill me if you wish.

Wouldn't start him if sorry when he's fit anyway as he hasn't shown he's any better than what we've already got up top. Just a name nothing more!

If easter has a good pre season and stays fit he'll Have a great next season Lets hope so but it's seeming more likely we've signed a dud, shame despite all the build up there was to his signing. We seemed to have ironed this out since last season after signing all the duds we did and until now we've managed to avoid any this season.

As always, many call him sick note crap, many call him a down-on-his-luck genius and a sin-proof kind soul, and few are the actual balanced and clinical opinions. This is the BRFC forum in a nutshell.
You know who were sick notes?
Zebroski. Kenneth. O'Toole. Brunt (despite liking the bloke).
Easter is nowhere near that level of proneness, even of he still has yet to do s*** at all for me to consider him a first choice striker (IMO right now it's Ellis/Taylor all the way).
Also, sorry, no way he's on 3k/week unless his contract runs out like tomorrow. We'll be selling our souls otherwise.

Whilst Harrison & Taylor may be the best striking duo it's hard to believe Easter can't get a game over those two, it's not like Lines would be second choice to both Mansell & Sinclair if the latter was fit.

Any Manager would be foolish to pick either Harrison or more importantly Taylor over a FIT Easter. I cannot see any problem this season as I would say it is unlikely that we will see Easter this season however I think DC will keep quiet on his injury to keep opponents guessing.
