The knockout blow will come when we beat Kiddie, with Barnet losing their game & getting ourselves two points ahead with three to go! SCHWEEEET!

We just need to win all our remaining games and hope they draw one, job done, easy

We just need to win all our remaining games and hope they draw one, job done, easy Sounds a tough task, but actually Barnet have virtually the same challenge. To guarantee the top spot they just have to win every one of their final six. That's extremely unlikely, for either of us. So it's in the lap of the gods. I feel the Mayan Skull might be needed here. Along with some animal sacrifices. Do our pasties actually contain any meat?

I think Barnet have the easier run-in. We may have to take a leaf out of Arsenal's book and organise a Lasagna-gate so one or two players are struck down with food poisoning

I don't think run-ins are the most important factor, if you don't have the mental strength every game no matter who you play is a mountain, and clubs lower down become even harder as the expectancy is greater.
Unfortunatley for us, Barnet are proving they have the mental strength as well as us, so its going to be nip and tuck to the finish line me thinks.

Barnet have lost 10 games though, so statistically they are prone to mental lapses twice as much as us.. And if worse comes to worse, oh well it's play offs. I think most of us would've settled for that back in August..

Barnet haven't gone more than six matches unbeaten all season. So past form suggests they have another defeat left in them yet. Not guaranteed of course - but if they're to close out the season without giving us a glimmer of hope then it'll take their best run of 2014/15

AFC Fylde who are top of the Conference North seem to be the latest Crawley/Fleetwood/Eastleigh and will probably be competitive next year but don't think they quite have the resources to make themselves a 'cert for champions'

Stand corrected but they are coming and when they do plenty with money will back them

Knowing the FC United fans that I do, I really can't see them jumping into bed with big money investors. Have a think back to the reasons the club was founded for a start

FC United are not spending their way through the leagues. They're not about to blow everybody out the water. The whole point about them is that they are entirely fan owned and run within their means as community organisation. There is very little chance of them waltzing through the Conference when they finally get there and that isn't their strategy anyway. They're quite ambiguous about how far up the league structure they want to get and they're certainly not in any rush.

My mate really isn't sure if she fancies going up. She likes the Glue League and her weekends away in Whitby
