2-2 FT
Disappointing but might be a crucial point, emphasis on 'might be'.

Bad point really but a good point considering we were 2 down. If we started with the team we finished with we probably would have won...

Lesson to be learned there, we shouldn't be afraid to force the issue and start with an attacking formation and selection of players.
In general i don't believe any team likes to go out in defensive mindset, unless they have no other option... for example all their strikers are injured or playing against Barca.

Without a doubt a point before kick off was more than good enough, we've messed up for 60 minutes, got back into the game and then grabbed two late goals, that is the stuff of champions, and that never say die attitude that has been missing from a Rovers team for many years is back.

Get in Ellis, time for a WINNER? Wtf stopped DC from starting with an attack minded dude though ? We could have out a couple away and then gone defense minded. I think he goofed big time with the starting line up, as the finishing 11 proved. Maybe he was swayed with the pitch but he should have more faith in his and the teams ability. Especially the forwards. Anyway, a good point in the end. 600 odd Rovers there as well. Great support.

We start defensive, 2-0 down come back into the game and grab a late point.
We start attacking, 2-0 down on the counter attack, come back into the game and grab a late point.
Whats the difference? I thought the attitude of turning up at away grounds thinking we can play brazil style football with 6 up front and piss all over these 'pub teams' stopped months ago, we have grinded out results all season, it's not pretty and it's not good for the heart but it works. The key thing was the manager making sure he had gamechangers on the bench.

Clarke cost us, bad management grow up His team selection was all wrong, no pace upfront, with a league 1 striker (Easter), ex-championship forward (balanta) and most in-form forward (Ellis) all on the bench to make way for the impotent Taylor, awkward monk house and sedentary ollie Clarke then DC has thrown away the match. That's poor management. Remember Halifax are not full time too.

Delighted with the comeback and great point come full time, you are spot teams of couple seasons ago might as well got back on the bus and headed home. Started the game on the backfoot because we went out with a defensive set up when we are perfectly capable or attacking teams from the off.

Have to admit I raised my eyebrows at the starting line up. However, I was really concerned we'd pick up a Sinclair style injury to Easter or Lines thanks to the 'allotment style' playing surface. Happy with the point. Lets pack the Mem next Friday and get another win!
