We can't afford to carry expensive, injured players throughout the season. He is a good player but totally useless when injured.

We will be the first to complain if he goes to another team and starts banging them in on a regular basis. This is where the medical team at our club need to be honest with DC. Can Brunt play a part throughout the whole season. Is his injury problems behind him?
If yes, then we should be looking to keep him.

Exeter wanted Elliot and Tisdale was quoted at the time as saying that was how the deal had been completed. Wards wasn't too keen on Elliot, obvious his attitude and effort not what JW expected.

Only reason we signed him was because he had a poor injury record. To see these L2 players jump ship (perhaps pushed?) makes me bloody mad. Smug ***** like Richards & Gill signing for Tranmere, JJ exercising an escape clause! Has any player stated that they would like to stay and help us get back? **** the lot of em! Now looking forward to supporting a new group of players who want to progress rather than stroll around pretending to be footballers. Milldenhall has. According to lincolnfan there's a Mildenhall highlights tape doing the rounds. I'm disappointed with that, but you can't blame him really. As for Brunt I was thinking he could be good for us next season. As I've said before I'm surprised with his injury that anyone is willing to take a look at him. Maybe we'd be better off getting rid of him in case he gets injured again.

Told you last week he wanted out and was called a s**thead, told you so chesterfield and Swindon interested The fact that there is interest from other clubs (however tenuous) is NO EVIDENCE that Ryan Brunt wants out at all.

Well as was mentioned the other day,Brunt is still under contract until the end of next season so any club who want him may have to pay up. Still under contract you say? Let's all just hope that Ryan Brunt doesn't have a get-out clause (also known as a relegation clause) in his contract, like J-J O'Toole did.

Knowing Rovers look with injuries of late he'll break down again in pre-season training!! A fully fit Brunt could set the Conference alight then again he might struggle.

Can't believe anyone would pay a fee for a fully fit Brunt, at the moment he's just come back from a serious injury, i could only see a club making an offer of a 6 month loan with an option to make it permanent in January. He did well when he came in but certainly didn't put in performances that would have had scouts flocking to the mem to have a look. I hope he stays but certainly wouldn't be disappointed if he left as we have Harrold.

I think it'll come down to whether anybody makes an offer for him. He wouldn't turn down a FL move and the club wouldn't say no to a fee, I wouldn't imagine. I struggle to think anyone will bid for him though given his serious knee injuries over the last few years.

Sorry about the previous (non) post, still struggling with technology I'm afraid.
What I was attempting to conjure up was a reply to Royal Blue who said . . . ''He wouldn't turn down a FL move and the club wouldn't say no to a fee, I wouldn't imagine.''
I would agree with that, but it all seems a little pointless now.

Whoever makes a bid for Brunty is taking a very serious risk, I don't think he's leaving, no.
