I wasn't sure if he meant Tuesday when he said he hoped to be available for the next home game. If so, brilliant!

I thought when Nick Day interviewed Easter and Clarke at half time they indicated they were aiming for the Eastleigh game so they aren't going to be ready for Tuesday unfortunately.

Last week weren't they going to be fit for the Gateshead game? Regardless let's hope Taylor's fit for Tuesday as we really could struggle without him being available.

Taylor is out with couldnthitabarndooritis. Not sure if there is a cure. He's a good squad player who has had ample chances to prove himself in front of goal - failed. A chance for Harrison to show what he can do.

Harrison doesn't make the runs Taylor does or hold the ball up as well. Playing up front isn't just about scoring goals, although it helps. And i would prefer balanta to ellis, he seem harder to knock off the ball.

Alright, he doesn't always put his chances away but my goodness, why you think Ellis Harrison would do any better is beyond me. He never does anything when he comes on apart from give the ball away or smash it into the stand!

I'm not saying I prefer Harrison over Taylor but Ellis has done OK this year.

Yup - Matty Taylor puts in a shift and fair play to him. He is also guilty of missing a hat-full of chances this season which could still cost us. How many games has Ellis started? If MT is out for a couple of games - Then a great time to give Ellis a few games and see what he can do... that's all I'm saying.

Take away that hat-trick at Dorchester and the only thing he's done that has actually made a difference to the result is his goal against Lincoln. When Easter comes back into the squad I wouldn't even expect Harrison to be on the bench anymore.

Or the last minute goal that won a game early in the season? (Forgotten who it was against, Halifax perhaps?)
Taylor has been in reasonable goalscoring form since Christmas, he was damned unlucky against Lincoln and playing on one leg against Altrincham.

We didn't win the game against Dartford hence why it didn't spring to mind, but it's a good point. He just doesn't do it for me I'm afraid, his lack of work rate was frustrating yesterday, especially when he only came on at half time! He's not good enough to be in our team at the moment, he isn't fulfilling the potential he showed a few years ago and definitely won't be good enough to play league football should we go up in my opinion.

He was good enough in the league before... Was he? I'm sure he was part of our lacklustre attacking performances (due to lack of effort and poor attitude) which helped get us relegated out of the football league for the first time in our history.
