Hopefully he'll have a decent, mostly injury free career.

Good news for both parties. Seemed a good lad though and if injury free can play in League 1 potentially.

I have always liked Ryan Brunt and I thought he looked very promising in the first 6 months after he signed for us. Unfortunately a series of injuries have hampered his progress with us and things just haven't worked out. Rovers and Darrell Clarke couldn't wait forever for him to recover and prove he is worthy of starting for us, so it's for the best that he moves on and signs for a club who want him to lead their front-line.
Good luck Ryan.

Just heard the news. He's not had the best of luck, has he? Hope that changes for him. Good luck, Ryan

Glad in a way as there is no point having someone around who clearly isn't in their plans (being loaned up a division!) and sadly for a long time hasn't looked like he'll score again until a leap year.

Was at Rotherham when he made his debut for us and I couldn't believe we'd got a player of his quality. Good luck to Ryan for the rest of his career...sad that for whatever reason it never quite worked out here.

Shame, really. He had what it took to be our top scorer but his injurues did not help at all and it's probably for the best that he tries to rebuild himself elsewhere. All the best to you Brunty.

Can only echo all the previous comments and really hope things work out for him. Quite unusual for a player to go out on loan to higher league club isn't it ? Good luck Ryan for the future.....

Good luck Brunty but how many goals has he scored for BRFC,York and Stevenage since his injury. He was probably one of the higher earners,Clarke had little option,we are a non-league club, gone are the days where we can carry players who spend most of the time in the treatment room.

Will any wage money be freed up, I doubt it with Easter arriving? However, Ollie Clarke looks like he has a problem with his knee, and we all know how good Rovers are at treating that, and we need another midfielder, if not for cover then as another option.

Didn't realise Plymouth have Norburn and Blizzard in their squad as well, their physio will be a busy boy....

Can you see the grace with which Brunty had left the gas? Compare that to some other playerrs who have left recently!!! I would have this lad bs k he is pure qulaity holds the ball up knits the whole team together. Now he is fit again I can see him going from strength to strength - maybe the next Richie lambert? Go Brunty!
