Thanks Stevek i could not agree more with your summing up of yesterday's dismal performance. We have a non-league manager who has assembled a non-league standard team and i feel a non-league culture now prevails at Bristol Rovers. The atmosphere was non existent probably because we felt embarased watching a Woking team at least matching us in every aspect of the game. They get about a 1000 supporters how come we are no better than them? As ive said on here months ago when we eventually get a proper experienced manager 90% of Clarks signings will be out the door. Yesterday are best outfield players were Parkes McCrystal Brown and Lockyer. Its no coincidence that all four were signed by the previous manager. I cant wait for Mr Clarke to depart. Demand Better Gasheads. A good 3 points for your lot yesterday. Did you venture up there?

Talking of creative midfielders , what is Alan Gow doing now a days . I thought this guy was a class act & if he would not had suffered that injury at Scunthorpe we probably would have stayed up.

We have been crying out for a creative midfielder all season. Along with a left sided wide man and another striker. Sinclair easily is our best attacking option from midfield on the right side.. So we just need a left winger imo. Why he is played deep on occasions only to be switched is a mystery to me to be honest as he is not effective at all and the team only click when he pushes forward and takes the pressure off the defence/midfield. But we aren't doing too badly considering. Im more than happy how this season is panning out.

Still without a club but if we signed Gow or a similar player who would you leave out our Player of the Year so far, Sinclair, or our leader on the pitch Mansell? Although if he's fully fit is Gow worth either a short term contract, with a bonus if we get promoted, or even an appearance fee contract? Surely playing for Rovers is as good a shop window as he's going to get?

I know coastal gas well and he has and always will be a life long gashead.
he was there yesterday and spoke to me at length about the game. Is he not entitled to an opinion?
clearly the abusive posters above have some kind of perverse 6th sense or are more likely just being ignorant.
to my mind the moderators of this forum should take the offenders to task for completely unacceptable personal abuse, but this behaviour is all too common in our playgrounds today.

As soon as I saw Sinclair was injured and would not start, I had a strange notion to jump in the river and drown....
