If Jermaine Easter does sign then he would have followed in the footsteps of his brother Jamal in playing for the Gas. Have any other siblings played for Rovers?

Did James ever play though? Im pretty sure he was in a side that Gary Thompson sent out? I maybe mistaken though, didn't we once have a midfield pairing of him and Drew Shore?

Ian Hamilton played over 100 games for Rovers and his brother David was on the books,he tragically died in a fire without reaching the first team,, their father David also played for Rovers between the wars. Also in the early ,70s brothers Malcolm and David John were at the club at the same time,Malcolm played and handful of games. David never quite made it.Both were strikers and were around at the same time as Warboys,Bannister,Staniforth,Rudge so their chances were limited.

Were Brian and Tim Parkin related? Both of them found a space.....a very respectable Parkin space.

For 45 years I've thought that Wayne Jones and Bryn Jones were brothers...but I can't find anything on the internet to confirm it, so I guess I've been wrong all that time! Edit: Bryn Jones was born in Llandrindod Wells in Feb 1948. Wayne Jones was born in Treorchy in October 1948. i.e. 8 months later, so presumably they aren't brothers! In doing a quick trawl, I encountered this team picture from 1969-70, which I'd never seen before. Just look at Frankie Prince's haircut!!
