If it's any consolation I was talking to a colleague who is a Nuneaton fan, and he is convinced they are going downas they are that poor. So we might get a point there.(0-0 obviously)

Yeah it means we go unbeaten in the 6 games but that isn't impossible. If we win the 3 "easier looking" games there then I'm confident we can pick up draws in the others games..

So bunched up at the top its inevitable that teams will play each other and drop points. We're 3rd in the table so no need for any doom n gloom. Transfer window is vital and we need to recruit a couple who will have a big impact and potentially win us games. Any more LDVs out there? There has to be surely.

If the weather doesn't affect these fixtures, and we are still in playoffs on January 18, I would say that's a tough test successfully passed. We are certainly capable of achieving it if we turn up on the pitch and off. The club and team need our unified support, lets do our bit and try to be positive..

Not sure Macclesfield in 2nd will be easy? I feel Friday's game will be a big one as win that with an impressive performance and that should give players & fans alike confidence again, struggle in that match and we could have to wait for new players to arrive to get back on track. Although given our history of signings lately they may not arrive until late January.

I think we will pick up 3 wins and any draws will be a bonus to help keep those points ticking over. Would be very surprised if come 5pm on the 17/1/15 we are any lower than 6th. The last month of the season will be massive, and April fixtures have been very kind to us.

I am not one for predicting results but I just cannot understand the logic on these predictions Why would we be capable of beating Gateshead and Macclesfield at home and yet only drawing twice with a mediocre Torquay? If we beat Gateshead on Friday then I agree we are capable of going unbeaten in the 6 games but I would expect us then to get at least 4 points from Torquay. BRFC 2-1 Gateshead WIN 3 points Torquay 2-2 BRFC DRAW 1 point BRFC 1-0 Macclesfield WIN 3 points BRFC 1-1 torquay DRAW 1 point Nuneaton 0-2 BRFC WIN 3 points Woking 1-1 BRFC DRAW 3 points Why would we be capable of beating Gateshead and Macclesfield at home and yet only drawing twice with a mediocre Torquay? If we beat Gateshead on Friday then I agree we are capable of going unbeaten in the 6 games but I would expect us then to get at least 4 points from Torquay. How we react to the Bath performance on Friday will reflect in the 5 games that follow.

I think we should take each game as it comes. It won't be easy against Gateshead, they're a good side showing some form, the conditions won't be easy - it will be cold and also under the lights. I hope the team will be motivated to perform their best and want it more to put on a good show for the fans...

Given the strength of the squad, put together with their mental fragility, the best that I can suggest is that we (and they) take it one game at a time. There really is no need for us to fear any of our opponents, always assuming that we don't shoot ourselves in the foot with a poor attitude by the team, and team selection and tactical formations of course.
But with the Rovers you just never know . . . do you?

We're third after 25 matches, not sure I see why would there be a huge variance after 31 to be honest.
