I like Brunty but a forward line like that is Conference bound! Hopefully them and Cheltenham!

Gone to Stevenage on loan. I'm pleased to see that it's only a loan move. It gives the player and the club more time, if they both want it obviously.

Hopefully works out for him, I wonder if they are any takers for Harrison?

Surprised Brunty's two loans have both been to a higher level in view of his zero goals for yonks.Hope he does re -ignite but good move in theory for club and player.

Seems like Brunts injury curse has struck again today. He went off in the first half for Stevenage, and apparently it could be a couple of months out.
All the best for 2015 Brunty.
I wonder if this might mean they might send him back early from his loan, rather than pay his wages, potentially affecting our player recruitment?

Brunt's loan was due to run out next month but I'd guess he'll be returning earlier than expected. If he's going to be out for a couple months, I wouldn't be surprised if we'd be looking for a mutual termination to give us some lee-way with the wage budget and allow him to sign a short term deal with Stevenage when he's fit.

See he had assist for the first goal today and Cunnington scored and then Beardsley got booked, some game for ex Rovers forwards..

Beardsley replaced Brunt at half time, was RB injured as they had scored 3 when he went off? Stevenage have won 3 on the bounce and assuming he's not injured I assume they could will, hopefully, look to extend his loan spell.

I see Ryan has been a goal machine at Stevenage like he was at York.

Give the guy a break, it hasn't worked out for him here which is a pity as his arrival sparked our recovery and he led our line brilliantly. I hope he recovers soon, Stevenage seem to rate him and they are 2 leagues above us !

Stevenage are 10th in league Two,just 16 places above us,York are even closer to us and quite honestly I doubt that theres much difference in quality between the three sides. I hope Brunt recovers, stays at Stevenage and does well but I dont want him back,I think he'll always be a regular on the treatment table,Stoke knew this when they let us have him, I'm very happy with his replacement .

I see Ryan has been a goal machine at Stevenage like he was at York. Notice you don't slag off White or Balanta for their poor goal returns/fitness but then again they were signed by Clarke and not Wardy.
As others have said Ryan's contribution to the second half of the season before last was nearly as big as JJOT/Mildenhall/McCrystal's he looked a little bit raw but an outstanding prospect. It's not his fault he's been injured and has done everything in his power to sort himself out (paying for his own treatment, going out on loan, putting in a shift when he's been given a chance here).
His season and thus his Rovers career are probably over now and yes he will have pocketed a decent wedge off us the last two seasons for doing very little, but if you had an injury/illness that prevented you from doing your job would you not accept everything your employer was obliged to give you?
Good luck for the future Brunty.

How can i slag off White & Balanta when they both have scored more this season than Brunt, and they have had nowhere near the gametime Brunt has had. I've made no comment on his fitness, and to say he was an outstanding prospect is one of the most OTT things i've read in a long time.

White has scored once at a lower level than Brunt has ever played in his career. Nailed me on that one. Balanta has had no game time because he hasn't been fit enough, which goes to show he was a poor signing.
OTT coming from the man who called Dave Martin a 'top quality addition'. Brilliant

Brunt was a good prospect when he came here. Through no fault of his own hes found himself injured, and unwanted. To pay for your own treatment shows he wants to overcome the situation, and I hope he does.
To bring white and balanta into the argument is stupid, someone once again turning every thread into the Clarke out thread. When balanta has played well, he is a player Lee Brown recommended, when he's unfit it's all Clare's fault for signing him.
We are playing well atm, every manager makes mistakes with signings, so far DC has made a lot less than our previous 5/6 managers.
