Do you not think the sh1t are going to go up? I think they will soon blow up and scrape into the play offs if lucky. Based on what?

I think they will soon blow up and scrape into the play offs if lucky. Based on what? There not smashing teams out of sight and are winning more recently by the odd late goal. Yes I remember us bring promoted through regularly winning 1-0 or scoring late goals but I think they are bound to hit a difficult patch as all teams do at some stage and believe they will lose games which will enable other teams to catch them / overtake them. Yes they seem to have the firepower at the moment and definite match winners but I still believe it's not a given they are going to walk the division because I don't feel they have the depth of squad or resilience to sustain winning games . I also don't hold the belief their manager has the leadership qualities to guide them through any difficult patches - have always regarded him as a loose cannon who got found out badly at Burnley. IMHO

How about you now write exactly what your personal opinion is about the chances of City going up or not so I can then respond in a sarcastic opinionated way.

Bristol is historically backward and amateur, I mean no arena still, three stadiums for four teams, a hellish bus service and a whole heap of utter atrocities in how the city is run. The last time Bristol took the lead to build something that was needed and was truly world class was built in 1864. It's no surprise that such a joke of a city is a joke sports wise.

As much as I hate it: they're unbeaten in 23.

Really don't want to think about that and hoping Preston win today and city dont which would set up Preston to beat them next week. If Swindon can also win next week the gap will be closed and the pressure on. All if and buts and still very early in the season and a lot can still change but hey ho here's hoping.

Spunking over 45m against the wall, only to find yourself in Div 1, is not my idea of 'sound financial backing' ! Agreed but SL can afford that out of 1 year tax saving. Maybe it's not sound financial backing but unless SL somehow manages to lose all his money it doesn't matter - he can afford to subsidise BCFC, BFC and any other sport which takes his fancy. Our directors have put (or lent depending on your viewpoint) proportionate to their assets a lot more to Rovers than SL has to City, with roughly the same result i.e. both clubs under performing. Why can't James Dyson become a Gashead..... Given his track record he may well relocate the club to Kuala Lumpur. Wait and see how that affects the home gates.
