The thundering silence on this from DC says it all.

Has anybody seen anything from him in the quarters to demand he plays?
The fact he didn't come on today suggests something might be a miss with him?

Has anybody seen anything from him in the quarters to demand he plays? The fact he didn't come on today suggests something might be a miss with him? Quite possibly. But the answer to your first question is surely no one knows coz no one has seen him enough to answer it, and as for your second point surely that means DC had an error of judgement in making him our first signing and praising him as he did? We are into November now, surely whatever may be "a miss with him" there has been enough time to put it right? It's just bizarre how he just seems never to be considered.

I agree it's all a bit odd but when ever he's played he's looked half a yard off the pace. I'm not sure why DC didn't let him go out on loan to regain his goalscoring form/fitness.

Strange how brunt just turns back up and plays but no white again

Watching him in The Gloucester Cup and against Exeter in the reserves last Monday has not shown me anything (apart from scoring a goal in each game) that he has that would put him ahead of those who have been taking the field in the first team. In fact Lucas played better than him against Exeter.

In terms of scoring yes but who's to say the others wouldn't have scored had they been playing. His general play and movement is not there.

So Taylor has movement, general play and no goals, with White having the goals but not real movement or play...
I know who I'd rather see start!

Scoring 1 in two would.
We do not really know what White is capable of. DC's misguided loyalty towards Taylor has hampered developing forwards such White and Ellis and I suspect DC is hoping he will come good, plus Brunt, rather than bringing in a forward. Approaching half way through the season Taylor has not delivered, and I simply do not believe, laudable as it is, that DC can not find a forward of the 'type he wants.' We keep on hearing the money is there. Cunnington, although a gent, and Martin as players DC considered 'suitable' have hardly been pulling up trees. We do not play the loan window as well as other clubs have done including last season, although DC was ludicrously appointed just as the window was closing.

My guess Darrell was expecting much more from White from the start. He watches him in training, can't say I'm suprised he hasn't done much.

I hope Clarke isn't leaving White out because he doesn't run about a lot, think of the great goalscorers that would never have got a look in here if that was a valid reason to not play a striker!
Is it too simplistic to say play him alongside Taylor or Harrison and let them do the headless chicken stuff?

He is mint on the new Football Manager. Has scored 14 in 13 for me. Hero.

Surely DC knows White better than most managers having managed him at Salisbury, how could he not now know what to expect? If White's not performing as he should why didn't DC just send him out on loan when he had the chance, it's all a mystery!

He's starting tonight - clearly DC has bought himself a copy of Football Manager this week.
