A long shot but did anyone notice any cameras there filming this match? It'd be great to see Rovers scoring for fun for those of us Gasheads in exile. UTG

There was a young lad with a handycam on a tripod wearing a rovers tracky next to me filming. So must be out there somewhere. Tho the older gents in my row frequented the boys room rather regularly so hindered the operation haha

UTG Not sure if the game was being filmed; what I would say, yesterday, Ellis produced a master class, he plucked the all out of air and put the first two goals on a plate, especially the goal for hapless Taylor, then he went on to score a well deseved hat-trick. The only downside was Darryl Clarke's stupid comments on radio Bristol, saying why he loved Taylor and Ellis had a lot to learn. Absolute ********, Taylor is by far the worst centre forward, who has been given an extended run in the side, I have ever watched in the blue and white quaters. Ellis was tremendous against Eastliegh and did it again yesterday. UTG

Ellis may have been given the freedom of Dorchester's half for his second, but the way he took Brown's long ball on his chest and ran on to beat the keeper was joyous

Just a word on our fourth goal by the way. Ellis popped it in through a crowded box, with Taylor standing in an offside position and having the presence of mind to get out of the way. The linesman flagged and copped the stick from our corner as Taylor hadn't touched it and wasn't interfering.
Ref came over, had a chat with the lino and gave the goal. Suspect the chat was along the lines of 'did he touch it and was anybody other than Taylor offside?'. Fair play to the ref for giving it, think the lino flagged a bit early before it was clear that Taylor had moved away from the ball as it went in!

UTG Dorchester usually video every game and post on their own youtube channel. Quality is pretty good as well. The video from yesterday is not up yet, but if it does appear, it will be at: www.youtube.com/channel/UCYIwOWnC_1wrbnfLkTlKhCQ

UTG Its all about opinions and we all know Taylor is not Mr Prolific but he is a very good, skilful footballer who brings others into the game well. He isn't a centre forward in my book. But your comments are so ignorant but that's just you. As for Ellis,a couple of good finishes and a good performance in the second half but the first half was marked out of the game by there defender very well. I would push Taylor back in midfield for Gosling and give White a start alongside Harrison. White looks like he is a `in the box` striker so if we can feed him then he might just `bang them in`. Overall a good result and day out.

Marked out of the first half apart from the two goals he created

Dorchester was a nice sleepy market town, The Junction pub was good, the stewards I encountered were very friendly and it was a tidy little ground - a good day out.

The old ship was where it was at! Match wise, from what I remember Jamie White did pretty well after coming on! Looked lively and linked up well with our wide players. But then the opposition were probably f***ed by then!

Thoroughly enjoyable day out yesterday, helped by a lovely autumnal afternoon. After a dire opening 15 mins things picked up after the opening goal. Lets not lose sight of the fact Dorchester were very poor, and tired very quickly in the second half. However, the banana skin was comprehensively avoided, and great credit to Darrell and the team. Please, no Bristol City in the next round.
