So, do you think that by going Gluten Free is cheating or a natural enhancement which has worked for him ? The shambles that ensued with him not being vaccinated was interesting, an educated man would have got jabbed and won the slam, it meant so much to him. Rafa was nursing a bout of blisters on his hand, being 2 sets down as well, it was all over, the Serbian would not have let that margin slip and won for sure. Now that the Busted Flush has taken the lead it will be hard now for Gluten to win 2 to go in front at his age of 35 in May (RN is 36 in June). The great Roger federer won his last slam at the Australian Open in 2018 when he was 36, it will be tough for both the Spaniard & the Serbian. Before 2011 he was a habitual, withdrawer from matches with injuries. Then all of a sudden he turned from a wimp into a Superman. That year he won almost every tournament that he entered. Surprising turnaround in fitness levels. He became the fittest, strongest and most flexible individual on the tour. He is a nasty piece of work as well. Smashing racquets and hitting balls in anger is not the way to conduct yourself on a tennis court. His pathetic attempt to win fans over at Flushing Meadow last year was embarrassing. He will never be liked. His birthday is on the 22nd of May, would you like his address to send his and this years christmas cards to ? 👀

Im pretty sure that he was banned from this forum and hasn't been heard of on gaschat for a long long time. My views on Gluten Free have been the same now for 11 years. I cannot stand the bloke. So, do you think that by going Gluten Free is cheating or a natural enhancement which has worked for him ? Rafa has now won another Roland Garros title.14 and counting. 22 Grand Slams in total. Not bad for a washed up one trick pony is it ZFC?

It's only gluten-free that can catch him, Roger, Andy and Stan are the only players playing with slams to their name and none will mount any challenge. It will be good for RN to have ND to compete with as he will push him, Medvedev, Zverev, Tsitsipas & new sensation Alcaraz will pose threats. Rafa is now 17 career titles behind the record of 109 by Jimmy Connors.

You forgot to mention Dominic Thiem, who would have won this title by now, had it not been for Rafa If he can get back to full fitness, then he will be a threat at every tournament. Gluten free will be a huge favourite at SW19, simply because there will be no serious contenders Nick Kygrios could possibly cause problems, but that would be about it. I don't think that Rafa will play.

Dominic Thiem is 28 now & the winner of 1 slam the 2020 US, the problem he has now is his current ranking place of 190 will make it difficult for him, but good luck to him. He has pulled out of Opens because of Recovery issues, testing positive for Covid-19 and a finger injury, in the French Open he lost in the 1st round to Hugo Dellien.

Thiem has had problems with his wrist. Hopefully it won't be career ending similar to Juan Martin del Potros. When fit he is a match for anyone on hard and clay courts. He has beaten Nadal a few times on the red stuff. And as we know age is only a number. He will be playing with a protective ranking for a while. I would love to see him back. Berretini and Sinner are two others not to be dismissed either. And there is also Casper Ruud and Holger Rune to add into the mix.

Great match today between Paul Jubb and Nick Kyrgios, it went to 5 sets with the Aussie winning - 6-3, 1-6, 5-7, 7-6 & 5-7.
Nick moaned and groaned all through the match, but spoke highly of the british challenger afterwards.

Briton Joe Salisbury and Rajeev Ram are in to the Wimbledon men's doubles semi-finals after beating Nicolas Mahut and Edouard Roger-Vasselin in five sets.
The top seeds came through a thriller, winning 6-3 6-7 (1-7) 6-1 3-6 6-4.
They will now play Australian 14th seeds Matthew Ebden and Max Purcell next.
Controversy: Having taken the first set with a single break, Salisbury and Ram thought they were set to claim the second too when a Roger-Vasselin volley was called long at 5-5 and break point.
Both pairings were walking back to their chairs when the French duo challenged, more in hope than expectation. Salisbury and Ram were aghast when Hawk-Eye showed the ball clipping the outside edge of the line.
There were calls of "no way" and "it's wrong" from the British-American pair as they argued with the umpire and the supervisor was called to the court after Salisbury sat down in protest.
After a brief discussion and a break of five minutes, play resumed although Salisbury did make a sarcastic challenge on the next point when his return went way long.
Mahut and Roger-Vasselin went on to hold serve and dominate the ensuing tie-break to level the match.
