Our last 2 home games against poor opponents we have managed just 1 goal in each!!!! If we are to remain as serious promotion challengers we NEED to strengthen the squad NOW. Come on nick it is obvious to all the fans we need a striker brought in AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!! We await your response!! Whilst I'm not a Higgs fan I think he and the BoD have enough of their personal wealth at risk with the club as it is, the club will need to pay for more firepower up front itself and I still think the important thing this year is to remain solvent and have a stab at the play offs. Come on now, aren't you raising your expectations ! We can always settle for life in Div 5 where we win games week after week after week !?

Errrrr can I remind everyone we have a NEW player on the treatment table That really is quite irrelevant, unless you're linking it to our efforts in not signing the chap that later signed for Eastleigh . . . and is still injured. You've gotta laff 'aven't you? NEW player on the treatment table, indeed. So having a lucky escape with one injured player makes it OK to sign another one? Given that our new striker hasn't played a competitve game for over a year it seems madness offering him a contract until he's proved his fitness, particularly when neither White or Brunt also fully appear fit, even if the latter managed 90 mins for hsi new club. DC really has no option but to start with Taylor at present.

I don't get the bad rap Cunnington gets. He is a link man, and he wins far more in the air than Harold did. I see him win more headers than he loses. Granted, he's no Lionel MessI, he's not even peter beadle, but this is the vanarama conference. You won't get much better as a no 9 link man down here. However, this is all there is to his game, its evident he couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo on the deck most of the time.
I'm more worried about Matt Taylor and Ellis. Cunnington can feed the little men, but the little men are the ones not performing.
I would love tom eaves too, but I have a feeling no end of money would tempt him here. Also, I think the club have rightly decided that we need players who want to be here.

Tom would have jumped at the chance of coming if we had stayed up as would Cian Bolger
