ah well as i was only about 12 or 13 then i wasnt there but just about remember seeing the score come up on the old telly and feeling gutted we were out the fa cup before the glamour clubs entered, always wanted us to draw arsenal, and when we finally did in 84 i was in munich for beer fest and missed both legs, sadly charlie ran rovers ragged at highbury, but arsenal lads impressed by away support from the gas, anyone got any storys from that game? I was talking about the fa cup v Kettering in about 88-89

Are you on about us losing to Hayes in the 70s? Kettering was 1988 under Francis Me, I'm a veteran of Hitchin in 1995 *shudder*

Just joking of course, but it really was a massive defeat for us.

and back then i thought it couldnt get any worse than losing to kettering, little did i know Not only that how naughty did it get outside afterwards? Very but in those days non league clubs were a nightmare remember rugby away and loads of Coventry ambushing gas in little side streets and anyone who went to Barnet in the fa cup mid eighties would remember knife carrying spurs fans inside and outside the ground
