If Kevin donates will he be allowed into the Mem to carry out the deed? If he uses some form of hover craft that doesn't touch the floor he's not technically in the Mem right?

Check the Land Registry - some register of titles include the minerals below and the airspace above the land. He may need to nominate an ice bucket attorney.

It's very unfortunate that you have chosen to drag Kevin's name into a semi-humorous forum thread about Mr Higgs' ice bucket challenge.
Wouldn't it be possible to take the piss in some other way, should you feel the need to, or instead wish Mr Higgs well in raising as much money as possible for a very good cause?
I live more in hope than expectation that Mr Higgs will lift his ban on Kevin but given that club officials follow this forum, I don't think you are going to achieve much other than to toughen Mr Higgs' resolve.

This actually could be a good chance to resolve the matter.
If someone who knows Nick and Kevin could nominate them to throw a bucket of water over each other and then shake hands and put the matter behind us, I for one would contribute.
It should also raise a decent amount for charity.

I totally agree with alwaysgas I would contribute a decent amount also. Could even raise the gate if done at halftime.

Notice Kev has also gone quiet now we've won a few, bet he'll be back quicker than my poo comes out after 10 pints when the inevitable news that UWE isn't happening is officially announced.

Please point me to the section of your forum rules that stipulates the relationship between how long you've been a member and what you're allowed to post.
Many thanks.

Ah, Kingswood Gas. Is there a 'block' or 'ignore' option on this forum?

I've found since the OF closed there were many people who didn't sign up as a member but logged on as a guest and just followed the threads, there are many who do that now.

Ah, Kingswood Gas. Is there a 'block' or 'ignore' option on this forum? You have the ability to block interactions from other members, using something called your Block List. When you add a member to your block list, you can limit interactions with them in the following ways: Hide this member's posts: When viewing a thread that this member has posted in, you will not see their posts. Instead, you will see a button labeled "Display Post". If you click this button you can see what the blocked member posted. Do not let this member start new conversations with me: The blocked member will not be able to start a new conversation with you. You cannot block conversations from staff members, however. Do not let this member follow me or my activities: The member will not be able to follow you, view your activity list, or see your email address. Block notifications from this member: You will not receive notifications related to actions that this member performs. For example, if the blocked member quotes you in a thread, you will not receive a notification about it, even if you have enabled notifications about quotes. To get started, click the Profile button found in the top menu bar and then on your profile page click the Edit Profile button. You'll then be taken to the Edit Profile & Settings page; once here, click on the Privacy tab. On the privacy page, look for the Member Block List option found at the bottom of the page with a search field. In the search box, begin to type either the username or the display name of the member that you want to block and you'll see some search results appear as you type. Once you see the member you want to block appear, click on their micro-profile in the search results list. Once you have selected a member account to block, 4 check boxes will appear asking you which interactions you want to prevent with the member you chose. Check the boxes next to the interactions you want to prevent, and when you have made your selections click the Save Privacy Settings button found at the bottom of the page to complete the process. Once you have a member blocked in your profile, you can return to the privacy page of your profile at any time to make changes. You can add or remove memberfrom your Block List, or change the type of interactions you want to block for any member.

Actually, I've just found a much quicker way to do it. Just click on the offending user name to bring up their mini profile. Click the little arrow at the top right of the page (ironically, next to the 'tool' icon) and it gives you a Block Member box. Click that and you get all the options for blocking every sign of them ever existing. Ten seconds max and it works a treat
