I know we won last night, but.......
I was disappointed with our ball retention. I thought Nuneaton were better passers of the ball.
I expect MORE!!

Way to go, an perfect example on how to bang a negative post in a thread about a 3-1 win. Imagine if the "happy clappers" put positive posts in the negative posts, they would "and do" get shot down in flames.

No-one gets shot down in flames on a football forum, you put your opinion, people agree or disagree with it, and discussion ensues.

Agree with this. What do you think about our defence ? Do you think it's good enough to get us the necessary wins away ? Cos we are going to need them even to get in top 5 ? I think they give up the ball way to often even when they are under little pressure - Trotman and Lockyer the most guilty. What i think will make the difference away from home is our attacking quality, i think the defence has struggled this season away from home, but the big positive compared to last season is i think we have much better quality going forward, and if and when we concede goals, i'm confident our forwards can cover any mistakes at the back and get us points on the road. Remarkable really how much better the squad looks compared to last season when you consider DC is working on a budget that has been cut by 30%, i think we also have the very high levels of fitness and team spirit to get us through some tough away trips up north when the winter sets in. If we can keep up the home form, then i see no reason why 8 away wins & 7 away draws won't be enough to secure a play off place, especially with a January window that could see some senior players move out and some new faces come in. Where has all this come from? Lots of people talking about DC's budget slashed and various percentages given - where was this announced please?

Not sure how you've managed to completely reverse what I said on that point; think you'll find you were saying that it was the last minute that didn't count if we played well during the game. Yeah I watched the game - we beat a sh1t side. So what?

Talk me through it then - if we hadn't scored in the last minute of the game what would the score have been? I mean the sh1te side that I saw us play against on Tuesday night.

I'm enjoying that we actually look confident the last few weeks and have an urgency about us going forward. This was non existent the whole of last season.
A win on Saturday would be fantastic, about time we got in amongst the top 6 and gave ourselves a target of staying there! Cannot remember any time since May 2007 where we occupied a place in the top 6 sides, other than before a game is played that is!
