Sorry for the thread but was wondering if anyone has done the match day hospitality. My dads 65th is coming up and I was thinking of treating him for a game in October but am unsure if there is a minimum amount of people and if it was value for money etc etc

Took a box for corporate hospitality quite a few times in the past and was always impressed. Good value at the time, good food and overall a very positive experience - only spoilt of course by the football!

Three of us did it last season for one match. Shared the box with some visiting Germans. A good afternoon and should be better now with Thatchers instead of Blackthorn

Yeah, do the exec box rather than hospitality in the dri build. Recently went with work and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think they have reduced the exec box prices for a few games this season as well!

I went in the exec boxes about 6 years ago, i think we beat Millwall or Charlton can't remember now, was a very good experience, food and drink was good, great view, not 100% sure but i think you need a minimum of 10 for a booking although when i went there was 8 of us but i think we had to pay for 10. I think it was something like £120 per head, but we were league 1 back then, could be cheaper now.

Minimum of 8 in the exec boxes. There was a special offer rate £35 + vat for some games in October so give them a ring if I were you as that's a cracking deal if still available.Dribuild hospitality is a minimum of 4 I believe but no special offers advertised though the price can usually be negotiated.

Done both, box and dribuild. Well worth doing in my opinion, good food, good atmosphere, good entertainment in the dribuild.

Dribuild suite is now a public bar and no meals there now due to cuts following relegation.

Was in 1883 club, now in box both excellent and current offers are a bargain (far cheaper than FGR!) I'd be very surprised if your anything other than impressed. As far as I know both sides are open, subject to demand, and if insufficient in big room, people are transferred to Exec boxes. I think there are share scheme meals on games coming up, so big room will be open. Check with Ian Holtby or Kerry (contact details on website here www.bristolrovers.co.uk/club/contact_us/ )

Dribuild suite is now a public bar and no meals there now due to cuts following relegation. What are the hospitality arrangements for the Dribuild on Tuesday night ... Nuneaton.

share scheme meals are scheduled for
NUNEATON TOWN Tuesday 16th September 2014 WOKING Saturday 20th September 2014 DOVER ATHLETIC Saturday 4th October 2014 DARTFORD Tuesday 7th October 2014
SO guess it depends how many book for these and how many others want hospitality on whether share scheme are accommodated in Dribuild or a few boxes

We had a Christmas meal at the York game some years back. For about £35 we got a wonderful Christmas lunch, programme & match ticket. I can really recommend it. The meal was top notch, it was in The Centenary stand & the view in the stand is best in the stadium. We very much got value for money.

My wife splashed out on the dribuild hospitality and programme sponsor a few years back for Barnet at home. It was a great experience, the only hitch was when Bry Seymour Smith spilt a pint on my mates roast... then pretended or genuinely didn't notice despite us all wetting our selves. He got given a new roast though so no harm done.

I used to do a fair bit of corporate hospitality and it could be a great day out. The food was always very good and I am sure that if you let them know in advance that it is your dad's special occasion they will do something special.
If it works out a bit too pricey you can have a word with the hospitality team and point out that you are happy to take a box at a less attractive game if a deal is to be done.

With all this great feedback, its just a shame an area we should be maximising, and could be a great profit centre has seen the chef made redundant as part of the cutbacks. I assume he's coming back on game by game basis where he is available, but I'd rather do without an overhead like Watola than a man who constently gets great feedback!
