Machine Gun Etiquette was their highest charting UK indie studio release, but their newest release Evil Spirits has taken 40 years to be their biggest chart release in the UK at number 7. Evil Spirits has 10 tracks of which 4 were released as singles in 2018.

Loving the Led Zep album untitled. All of the 8 studio albums released in the 10 years from 1969-1979 were great albums, 7 of them went to number 1. I was a bit too young at the time until my sister brought home her future husband to be, he introduced me to LZ, Deep Purple and many more. He let me play all of his heavy rock collection he amassed and i was hooked, i lived in my local record stores for most of my teenage years from then on.

King Crimson and Led Zeppelin on this page are a great listen, and rightly rated as classic albums 👍🏻 Zeppelin were called heavy rock at the time I don’t dispute - but in the longer scheme of things stretching to today, where everything is plugged in and unplugged sounds more refreshing and troo now, is it still a heavy product? Zepp versus these days where even folk pummels you to death with daisies Like this example. Meanwhile, lyrically, 70s heavy rock always heavy or bluesy enough? the rock and pop songs of the sixties and the blues of the 50s and earlier so often darker than the heavy rock of the seventies. Where does Zeppelin’s inspiration come from, as example, with seemingly arbitrary lifts from the Lord of the rings universe - Misty Mountain Hop doesn’t actually have any mists or mountains in it, just students getting high on the lawn - are lyrically like sweet juices left over, once meat of the blues was slow braised in too many narcotics, is this result savoury or sugary? Compare and contrast with how heavy the lyric here To be heavy, you owe it to the listener to know it from a title what they are getting, it’s actually about something much more than sweet meats and blue remembered hills. Hell. Sticking to my own credo I even contributed heavier lyrics to 70’s rock genre myself, I do believe🤘 soundcloud.com/chubbydoomdoom/hgv-the-knight

Talking of 'Heavy' although one of the leading stars of Glam, Marc Bolan could 'Rock' as hard as anyone.
Buick Mackane off The Slider album is great.

What about King Crimson... In The Court of the Crimson King is a brilliant album. In terms of a concept album - right up there with Dark Side of the Moon IMHO. RIP Greg Lake. Robert Fripp is still married to Toyah Willcox. They moved from Dorset to Worcestershire (didn't know that - note to self, must get out more).

It's hard realising that Toyah is 64, hubby is now 76 and still going strong, just like their 36 year marriage, which is quite rare these days. During the COVID-19 lockdowns, Fripp and Willcox uploaded many short, humorous videos to YouTube, usually covers of well-known songs, and mostly titled Toyah and Robert's Sunday Lunch. According to rock and metal news website MetalSucks, their stories about these covers were extremely popular; their cover of Metallica’s “Enter the Sandman” was the site’s 6th-most popular story that year. Robert is also a Pescetarian is the practice of incorporating seafood into an otherwise vegetarian diet. Pescetarians may or may not consume other animal products such as eggs and dairy product.

Wardance by Killing Joke. Maybe Rovers could take the field to it. Not heard that. I'll see you and raise you an Empire Song. Pretty sure the keyboard player went AWOL before the TOTP performance, and that's why a man in a space suit is present instead. I can't find any reference to it though... might have dreamt it...
